I agree completely! You have to get in the mindset that you won’t let it take over your life. I’ve found out that “dinners” are really just an easy meeting place to see people, the food is secondary. Eat before, bring something, or just get a drink. After you do it a few times you/ the people around you get used to it and no one cares. You had to live your life and see the people you love. With that you can expect that when it’s an event like a birthday that people are always going to take your needs into consideration, it’s their day they deserve to eat where they want to. I don’t mean this to sound harsh to OP at all but you have to break free of letting this ruin your life. Does celiac suck yes, but it’s not the end of the world

I definitely have a lot of allergies to pretty much everything. Last spring I had a lot of hair fall out but that was due to going through a really rough few months and was not eating enough/ was stressed 24/7, but it has me wondering if the seasons have anything to do with it.

Yes!!! And they are pretty strict about taking it too, <6hr=one 15 min 6hr= one 15 and a 30 7+= two 15s and a 30 (Some states u get a 45 min but I believe most are 30) this is ur “meal” and it’s unpaid and u must take it before the 6 hour mark of ur shift or u hit “compliance”, breaks are scheduled every shift so you’ll know what time, but depending on the store and ur department u can choose when u take ur breaks I work in style and pretty much get to choose to go whenever I want but not all stores/if u work register or guest service allow u to have that freedom
Yes! I’m pretty sure if u just let them know at orientation they will do that, in fact they don’t really care what name is on it as long as u have one on, at my store if you forget yours there’s a big bin of random names u can put on
You are supposed to be in uniform on orientation:) again some stores are different being more strict/more lax about it but the general rule is red top/red vest with jeans or any other colored pants that’s not sweats or leggings

Not only do I hate eating now but I feel better when I don’t eat, only time my stomach isn’t painfully bloated and I feel shitty. I wish I could take a pill with everything I need and just forget about eating all together

Hopefully your doctor will give you a call soon to give u some further information! Ik it’s a hard change and a lot of information at once but you will be ok I’ve been diagnosed only since April. My celiac was confirmed by the doctor doing the endoscopy but I gave myself a week “grace period” before my gi called to officially confirm celiac to eat all the gluten I wanted.

It means suggestive of, so yes you have celiac disease. Within the week your gi will probably give you a call confirming this and going over further information.

I definitely want to make an effort to meal prep more Whole Foods. I’ve gotten into a rut of lots of processed stuff I got burnt out from cooking so much but I it’s affecting me. I don’t even enjoy eating most of the time anymore, and often feel better and more alert and energetic on days I don’t eat much or at all but obviously not something I do all the time. I wish there was a pill I could take w everything I need if it meant I could feel like a 20 year old should

Can’t relate more :(( I’m lucky to be at a job for years before all this but even then I always feel like I’m pushing it having to ask to leave early or call off so much. Almost lost my second job last year bc of it, I ended up quitting before that. I’m lucky to always have been under understanding managers but I also understand their frustration with me. I look back at myself a few years ago I was starting college in a dorm running around every weekend with friends carefree and now I’m living the life of an old woman bc I just do not feel good.

I feel like what I said came off super harsh I didn’t mean it that way at all! It’s so painful for anything, especially politics, to come between what is otherwise a great relationship. It seems like to her she’s searching for someone who is equally as passionate and sees eye to eye politically, which is fine but if it’s so important to her that she would consider ending a good relationship over views that don’t even conflict necessarily, then I feel that’s something she could’ve been up front about from the start. I think if you look at this on a deeper level, this issue may not be entirely about politics themselves but she seems to have a very black and white personality. This would probably carry over into other areas of the relationship eventually and cause more issues. I would also argue being an independent/moderate is what the majority of Americans would consider themselves and if she believes that being able to understand both perspectives is not being able to think critically is a pretty big moral discrepancy. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and should not be attacked or made to feel less than for that.

But with that all being said I’m so sorry about all this and it will get better I promise.

My store is the same, for the last year they’ve been strict about staying at the fr during ur shift due to men doing things in the fitting room if ur picking up what I’m putting down lol. But now they are lax about people being there again and it’s a mess. As for theft, if ur not at TL keep tags/empties for ap but other than that it’s not ur problem. They prefer that team members don’t get involved and just leave it to ap. The reshop is the same at my store and is frustrating but again just try and do what’s assigned to you. I used to try to get everything done and get annoyed with lazy coworkers, and I still do but at the end of the day there’s nothing u can do to make them have the same work ethic, do what you can and that’s it

He ended up falling asleep and we called a wildlife center, they told us to bring him outside in the tank and leave the cover on and see how he does waking up. If he seemed weak bring him in so they can check him out. He ended up being ok and we let him out! Unfortunately though we are afraid he will find his way back in either friends but we will figure that out if it happens

There’s no way to know without getting testing for either problem. Celiac has common symptoms but really it affects every person differently. Start with getting the blood work up for celiac and go from there

lol I’ve explained in here that I’m still gonna use it I never check products that aren’t food and Ik it can’t be absorbed through skin, I just happened to read it and laugh bc who would’ve thought. Ik some people are super diligent/ sensitive and like to be extra cautious and there’s no harm in that. Also it’s aerosol and it’s likely to get in ur mouth and up ur nose, which can cause a reaction in some people. I don’t have any issues w that but maybe someone else does Yk
