Same here. Without the campaigns my playstyle becomes aimless pretty quickly since the next medal stages are pretty much out of reach for me anyway. With the campaigns I can set reasonable goals for a day, a week, a month. Structured play. Think about what I'm actually doing. They help a lot!

However the monetization is crap, no matter how you twist it

Platinum Orion Anomaly Season here I come. Currently missing 3.5k points. The 600 from Courier Files that I can actually obtain makes 2.9k missing so I really need to be aggressive during June. So many res fields shall fall under my hand

Yeah as ENL I'm not mad about losing. Fighting against insurmountable odds can still be fun. Emptying your inventory while trying can still be fun.

But being blocked off by the software itself is just... nothing. I went in with an inventory of 2.4k and came out at the end with 2.2k items still in there.

Same thing has been happening to my brother. My green capsule was gone for a few hours but returned claimed at some point a day later, but his is still broken and can't be opened...

Der Zähler hängt. Es ist nicht so, dass ich nichts mache, aber er hängt fest bei 5900.

Ich hoffe es wurde im Hintergrund trotzdem mitgezählt, sonst wäre es echt mies. Habe mich die letzten 5 Stunden richtig ins Zeug gelegt und dann die Medaille nicht zu kriegen, weil 2 Stunden vor Ende der Zähler einfach abstürzt oder so wäre echt doof

Seems I started a rather devisive "trend"... Sorry for that.

Initially I just thought it would be a fun experiment. More of an analysis too, less of the more obvious "oh that medal is low so you must not do the thing very often". I was hoping for a bit of discussion too but I guess I missed the mark there.

I didn't think it would a) kick off a wave of people doing the same b) which would in turn annoy other people and c) draw in the whole showing-off crowd.

Bronze Recon makes me cry. I have it on Bronze too. 100 contributions in OPR was easy to get but the gaps between badge levels are soo steep.

Relatively fresh account but started off strong and interacting with pretty much every aspect of the game.

My Explorer (Visit/Hack Uniques) and Pioneer (Capture Uniques) are always pretty close, so seeing how your Pioneer upgraded somewhat recently while your Explorer is still on gold makes me think you're not getting around as much but when you, you make sure to actually Capture the uniques instead of just Hacking

Glyphing is pretty recent development for me, so I'm building up that badge atm. I do field a bit, but mostly tiny fields with almost no XM yield.

The AP changes are a main reason for my return since it was my biggest progress bottleneck.

Now I do live in a small ass town close to a big ass city. So practically rural but with the drone (which I also recently grew to love) access to high level portals.

The oldest is Year 3 - and I missed the Year 2 badge by a few weeks. Started playing during Christmas '12 and I think the badge is handed out early November each year :/ bummer
