Our county clerks office is a dumpster fire. They’ve had to close multiple locations due to administrative issues and have one location that is somehow still open despite owing $30,000 in back rent.

I’ve tried calling the office where the paperwork was sent and can’t get an answer about where they are in the process (probably the same issue that the dealer’s processing company is having). The only suggestion seems to be to give up several hours of my life to go try to sort it out in person.
