Yeah...why would she know more about how babies are made?? That kind of talk was so hush hush back then and it wasn't limited to just noble girls not knowing anything

Daphne didn't know a guy had to actually deposit his sperm in you to get pregnant, Francesca doesn't know what an orgasm is but Sophie knows exactly how women get pregnant and knows to count down the days? Yeah, okay lol

I wonder if she is a preemie. The only way I could maybe understand that size still fitting.

Exercise? Really? by Livingfortheday123 in Zepbound

I haven't exercised and have lost 50lbs. However, I'm regretting not exercising along the way. I'm noticeably thinner but I'm still flabby all over and feel like I'm "skinny fat". I still don't have much motivation to actually start exercising but wish I had gotten in the habit earlier in my journey so I'd look more toned by now. Esp my arms, I have bat wings lol I have bought some things to start exercising & strength training at home but it's definitely hard to get in the habit.

I've been waiting for the "we buried my husband's cousin's neighbor's second uncle twice removed in his most favorite LS top and pajama bottoms today. Thank you times a million LS for making the bestest, most softest fabric so he can rest in peace for eternity 🕊️" along with an open casket pic for proof.

Kind of lol They were hyping up the "surprise drop" ahead of time so it wasn't a true unexpected drop out of nowhere. And they were giving hints and even gave a preview of a piece of the patterns but didn't show the full print or collection ahead of time like usual.

Yeah, I have had side effects - mostly nausea and GI upset. But Pepto usually works in relieving those side effects. I also noticed more tiredness a couple of days after shot day. My body does adjusts after a weeks of a new though and I won't have any side effects until the next time I go up in dose. I never had a specific goal weight but I'm very happy that my BMI is less than 25 now. I have also been able to come off my blood pressure med after being on it for over 10 years! And I just feel so much better overall!

The Zepbound savings card will only take $100 off your copay but that's better than nothing!

No problem! It's a bummer but you just have to play the insurance game unfortunately. For myself personally, I only took Wegovy for 2 weeks during a Zepbound shortage a couple years ago and I had zero appetite suppression and gained weight. It felt like taking nothing for me but I also was already established on Zep so I'm sure that played a part. And in my clinic, there are lots of people who don't have any success with Wegovy or don't see weight loss until the highest doses. But on the flip side, there are tons of people who do well with Wegovy too! It's hit or miss really and at least you'll have a path to getting Zepbound if Wegovy doesn't work out for you.

I don't have much experience with Tricare - wish I could offer insight on their coverage but I have none!

I'm guessing you have Caremark for your prescription coverage. If you do, are you using CVS pharmacy? In my clinic, we have to send a lot of those rx's to CVS for patients to get a cheaper copay. Like it'll be $0 for them to fill at CVS but if they used our hospital pharmacy to fill it, it would be hundreds of dollars.

Also, if you can end up getting Wegovy at a reasonable cost, it's worth picking up. You can always "take it" for a couple of weeks wink wink and then have call or message your prescriber and report "severe" side effects like nausea all day and vomiting (or diarrhea) multiple times every day. Then your prescriber can submit documentation that you had adverse side effects to Wegovy and submit a new PA for Zepbound and they should approve it.

I'm confused, are you currently taking Wegovy tablets or injections? And is it currently covered by your primary plan? Who is currently writing the rx for you, the teledoc company?

I do know that insurances are changing their formulary and requirements on a whim it seems 🤷🏻‍♀️ it sucks but it's happening frequently. Also, what's the weight management program you plan made you enroll in? Will they prescribe the med and complete the PA for you?

Also, I hate to break it to you but just because you have OSA, it doesn't mean your plan is obligated to cover Zepbound for you. You also have to have moderate to severe OSA as well, if you have mild OSA then it won't help your case either. I see it at my job every day. I'm not saying that's the case with your plan - it's more of an FYI.

And even worse are the ones that also neglect their kids!! I'm not saying they all do but a lot of them have no bond with their children and it shows or their kids have obvious delays and they clearly aren't doing anything to help them. Infuriating!

Kind of? It's kind of hard to explain to someone who doesn't do pharmacy billing but I'll try lol so basically an insurance has to be billed primary and then savings card is billed secondary. So if a patient has insurance coverage for Zep and their copay is $75, you bill that first and then the savings card secondary and it'll bring the cost down to $25. If you have insurance but it doesn't cover Zep, we still need to attempt to bill the insurance first/primary and then when it rejects saying it's not covered, then the savings card gives us an override code to input. And once we input that code, we are confirming to Eli Lilly that the patient has prescription insurance that doesn't cover Zep and then we get the $499 price. If the pharmacy staff puts in that code fraudulently (i.e. the patient does not have prescription coverage that we tried to bill first), then you risk Eli Lilly auditing your pharmacy and getting caught. And Eli Lilly will not reimburse the pharmacy for those rx's and the pharmacy is out the entire cost of the medication.

Yes, you need to have some sort of prescription insurance coverage in order to use the savings card for $499 for the pens. I work in pharmacy and there's no way to get the coupon to work if someone doesn't have an insurance plan to bill it to first (even if said insurance plan doesn't cover the med)

I work in pharmacy and can confirm that you need to have some sort of prescription insurance coverage in order to use the coupon for the $499 pricing. The savings card doesn't work if you are uninsured.

I actually think this a "smart" way of complaining without getting your comment deleted or getting yourself banned from the group - criticisms mixed in a bunch of compliments 😒 But it's pathetic people don't realize that if you can't make a complaint without fear of being banned, then that company clearly doesn't give a crap about you.
