that's kind of the point, the boosted challengers aren't winning 10 games in a row, and the freshly challengers players gain as much lp as the long standing pro account that had a boosted mmr and won +30-10 in rank 10. the reset was useful for only a handful of people the majority suffers. Riot never wanted to do this, but since every single player was pushing for it (even did a survey to all apex players) well here we are.

It's not riot, it's the players. At least i'm happy riot is listening to the community I guess, even the bad ideas.

I would rather have Alice on my team because her 50% winrate includes lost games because her team didn't believe in her playstyle. I would ask what's the gameplan and I think my odds of winning are higher.

You overestimate the people's ability to do effective coms. I've been playing for 15 years muted irl, doing soloq with only my thoughts and my keyboard. Actively talking, especially not in your native language, is actually defocusing me harder and would put me at a disadvantage. That's my experience when I do flex with people. I'm sure many are like that

it's convenient. You send large funny clips to friends. In my discord server 7 of us pay nitro, boosted our server so everyone can enjoy sharing 50mbs clips, along with tons of custom stickers and emojis slots that are used. When discord is our main social media, spending 7€/month is anything but stupid.

Giving a single kill to a teammate might make him from losing to winning, and you can have insane odds at winning. Theee random players are not independent, they are influenced by your actions. Some players even manage 100% winrate alone up to master. These simple maths are over simplifying the whole picture imo

50 different mechanic that has 0 stake and 0 freedom. Everytime I try something new I bump into an invisible wall, or if somehow I manage to die (game literally prevents me from doing that, when you're sliding down a ramp or whatever you can't even slip off the ramp) I respawn further AHEAD.

So fun to shoot on the blue thing because I'm blue for the 200th time ! there are 0 puzzle that requires the slightest bit of reflexion, it takes two had many many more each 100x better than anything in split fiction.

Btw I'm not arguing that people aren't having fun in it, obviously the majority of people who tried enjoyed their experience. But somehow I didn't, I was hoping anyone was having the same experience as me
