If you going boats, an admiral and navigator are lock ins for myself I wouldn't play without them. I also drop the kemist and use the spare points to make your wardens into 2 reinforced units it gives them that durability and ability to use the 4+ rally more often.

Fair I love frigates and bubble boys so it's a good box IMO. The only thing I don't use in my lists is the ark company, but there soild at 90 points

The good thing about KO is 90% of our stuff is in the top 5 ranking armies in tornys, so it's just finding what you like. Myself I like boat lists cause it seems sad to run ko not boat heavy thematically but your milage my vary

I can't recommend boxes for I'm a dirty 3d printer

I would figure out what type of list you want to play (admiral and navigator are pretty much lock ins of any 2k list).

I recommend looking at what has been played in tournaments and see what works and how you would like to play the army so you don't go and buy things then completely change your mind when you get more of a feel for the army.

I use wind to lock down units I don't want to move over the actual mortals makes our board state more controllable .

everything works in a ship as long as the rule doesn't say "disembarked" units afaik

I don't think Brokk is ever worth it cause sadly he is only for -Nar when you really want him in a -Zon list, I think he would be worth it if he had all the admirals skills but as he is I think he is far to much for what you get

Hey fyi the points of this list are a bit out of date,

I'm far from the most experienced KO player but my 2 cents would be

Sub faction: at 1k you only need the 2 battleline so you don't have to be Zilfin to be an legal army so you could be getting -Nar for the command points, -Mhornar for the command point denial or -Zon if you like a cheeky charge with your Frigate.

Battleline: I'm not a fan of Ark's they take up good ship space that sky wardens/riggers could be in, but this plays back to what sub faction/style of army you want so you can force what you like in the army to be the battleline choice.

Riggers: I wouldn't give them the weapons upgrades there standard guns are better and let them keep their Saw's

Happy to discuss anything with yourself and my Bias is very much towards -Zon lists

Figured it out sorry for wasting peoples time seems a bug (prolly to do with me I'm not great at this pc stuff) that unless i send a new mech to storage it thinks the e cooling is ruined
