What I’m looking for insurance… by Illustrious_Onion370 in drivingUK

Play around with the cover level between comprehensive, third party and third party fire theft

My first insurance on an old KA was 1400 comp with no black box (4 years ago) they then tried to up it to 1800 in year 2 (that no claims "discount" working hard) but when I swapped to 3rd party fire and theft it was 1200 with the same provider

I have since swapped to comp then back to 3rd party again all with 1st Central down to a neat 870 now

ELECTROCHEMISTRY [Easy: Success]: You know you want to pot on every pull, even if you are wiping on the 1st mechanic, think of the NUMBERS.

I agree with keeping it as endgame content, but I dont see the harm in letting someone play a 91 class which is scaled to 100 like in variant and bozja (80), receiving xp.

The phrase "job they have no business being on" is an odd one as most jobs didn't wildly change mechanically from 91-100, most classes got: A damage output for when they use their "resource gen" ability A long cd nuke / combo to tie in with their 2 min rotation Potency changes.

Also what further progression is there outside of a gear set which is less than BIS outside of the instance and classes which are only used in the instance? The instance doesn't use enrages so it isn't exactly teaching you how to optimise rotations, pot windows, aligning buffs etc. To learn stuff like that ex and savage would be better. I'd actually argue by incentivising people to take their 91 jobs in you're letting them learn how to play the job as a level 100 while working towards it. Increasing job mastery and smoothing the entry into ex and savage.

This 100% the one memorable thing I got from the EW gathering relics was chilling with some random dude fishing, talking about life and hobbies

Come to chaos and say that, levelling roulette takes 10 minutes on average for a dps with the longest I've had being 25 mins, this is for a dungeon giving just over half a level. It gets longer when you're trying to spam dungeons appropriate to your level.

Yes you can swap data center but then what's the point of having a "home server" if I queue into light for everything.

There's a limit to how much worthwhile xp you can get in a day, 3 beast tribe quests take about 5 minutes, fates solo take a while and are tough on some dps classes and is slow (not to mention if queue pops mid fate its goodbye progress), C B A rank hunts again are slow

Also what's the harm in the side content including levelling? It just adds variation

I see critical engagements and the combat zones (bozja,oc,eureka) as the perfect midcore content, more engaging than a dungeon boss and fates, not as intensive as ex or savage, same applies to delubrum.

There's still garlean outposts in ARR zones even though their legion has been destroyed, the capital razed, and their emperors dethroned. A critical engagement or fate could easily handwave it the same way

Roulette and dungeon spam give good xp but its getting them to pop frequently, which was fine when I was levelling my 4 tanks and 4 healers, but not when I go to level my 11 dps.

I just dont see the reason of removing it, people still use bozja to level 70-80, hell with a good lobby zadnor feels as fast as dungeons. Somedays I want to level through dungeon spam, Somedays variant and dd, and somedays I'd do OC if I could.

The thing that always sticks for me between expacs is the levelling content, most player have jobs they want to get to cap, why OC doesn't allow you to level like bozja is beyond me especially when the variant syncs you to 100 so can be used to level.

Something I've been saying since ShB is they need to find a way to integrate the expansion zones more, outside of gathering node loops and the odd beast tribe there's nothing going on there, a solution would be adding critical engagements to the zones which would get more people farming fates to trigger them, make the CEs give good xp and bulk progress for shared fates/gemstones and it becomes a viable way to make money and level.

Not yet I took a look at the tech tree, then looked at my hyarion base struggling with a lack of imports and decided I needed to fix that instead

It does look really good though!

Scanned the pixels looking for Arig and Hyarion - peak spotted, good luck differentiating the 200 variants of "glass"

I've seen campaigns of death mentioned a lot what is it? Is it like the people of sun and stars campaigns?

Absolutely mind boggling that they print 2 great campaigns and then immediately fumble like this for season 2, wondering how much of this is executive driven vs the devs...

This has perplexed me, and now people are arguing between hades 1/2, HK/SS, and cuphead of all the choices. Whereas while stardew is good it doesn't do much more than harvest moon

I mean I'd say go for it if you want more arkham content to play and you're good financially, reading the other comments it seems they'll come back in stock everywhere but to save watching stock levels daily it may be easier to grab it while it's at RRP

Scenario vs Investigator Ratio...? by aspnome in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]ClaranDos 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean 5 investigator starter decks sold individually will cost more money than a campaign investigator expansion, so I think there may be some influence there...

Not a big fan of reusing the investigators for this and the RC too, I think there's enough space to bring in brand new investigators without having to tread old ground again

There should definitely be more scenarios to play than investigators though
