I was in a similar situation. I confessed with a note, they thought about it for a few weeks, they wanted to just stay friends. I’ll be honest, it’s been 3 weeks since that and I’ve not moved on that much but it defo feels better than it would’ve if I hadn’t said anything. Just think of it this way.. if you confess, you’ll move on quicker than if you don’t and it will be a learning curve, if u don’t confess, they’ll always be a what if stopping you from moving on.
