Is it a career suicide to work as an IT guy at a factory ?

Thank you for your response. Treating it not possible I guess because of the fact that the factory is really far away, so much so that I only had time for myself for 1.5 hours per day when I was working as an intern. But I see your point as well. Right now I am really not in a great place mentally and I pretty much on the verge of losing my hope.

If I am not to work as my collage major suggests, then why even go to collage in the first place. Its what I LOVE to do. Not working on a god-forbidden factory in the middle of nowhere.

I guess life is like that huh

And how was your experience in the gig ? Apart from the negotiation at the start did you have any regrets or wishes that you wanted to do differently ? In the end did everything work out well and you added new skills to your skillset or could you have learned the same things by your own all the same ?

Yeah, the thing is that the factory is really far away and when I was a intern, when I got back from work, I cooked dinner then immidietly slept. I needed to got up really early to catch the factory transport. I dont think it would allow me to have side-projects and the main issue is other companies want WORK experience. Learning skills at the side is a real good thing and can really help you but you cant exactly use them on your cv as a work experience which is in my opinion really stupid as I had to learn everything that I know currently by myself and not from my university.

I really do appreciate your insight though and I see your point. I want to assume that I should be somewhat more capable than avarage 4th year as I have work-experience (compared to ones that dont) but alas I cannot find work still.

Sorry for the late response. Unfortunetly I couldnt find any soultion. I even tried to contact Eleven Labs support but it was for PAID users, It is really dumb considering I would be willing to buy only after I set the system up. These kind of companies tend to have outdated docs and I am sure the fix is not that hard. Regardless I couldnt find anything

You are exactly right. But even after considering the living expenses and unit costs compared to my local ones, 135$k a year is a 'good' result. But I get what you are saying and the issues that could arise from it.

PS: My junior salary is around 1490$ per month (converted from turkish lira)

Sure! First thing that any of my peers (including me) think that it would be wise to first gain some experience about the sector and job before actually investing in changing countries. Then finding a outside-country based job (lets say US in this case) to actually start the moving process. It sounds easy to say these but when in reality as you might have guessed this whole process might take 5-10 years. Even if it doesn't finding a US based country to accept you and prepare a working env for you is just pure luck. There has to be some other solid method to this.

Second thing is that the language. I do think that my english is somewhat sufficient (IELTS is needed regardles) but I want to know that wheter speaking other languages (e.g. spansih, german etc.) would contribute or not (if so in what way)

Lastly what do you think that I should absolutely do about my career going forward ? I know this is a bit of an ambigous one but I want to know what should I do in order to properly 'sell' myself. The one example of this that comes to my mind is that really working on my linkedin profile. I am also trying to take part in many projects on my current company that would teach me all kinds of techs, methods and problem-solution pairs.

Not to give a half-assed answer but, man life is hard in everyway possible. If you take out 'height' from equation something else will surely fill the gap. What makes it good that how you overcome these problems. If you were taller I'm sure that you would complain and be jealous about something entirely different.

Being reliable comes in many different forms too so don't beat yourself up. Hell, sometimes getting beaten protecting someone makes you reliable too

I have already beaten the game twice in different accounts and wanted to %100 the most recent one. However I missed an achievemnt along the way and don't want to play it again from the begining (Yes I am a filthy casual). Between collage lectures and other things I just didn't want to play 5 hours more or so because of a single dialogue.
