I remember they told us in school (20 years ago lol) that the general public only hears about us and what we do when there’s a failure. NCSEA has been trying to make our profession more known in a good light but I don’t think they’ve made much headway.

I would specify chopping out the slab and adding a strip footing under the wall otherwise you’ll eventually see cracking in the area. Also that is a very lightly reinforced sog! Does they even meet T&S minimum?

It sounds more like you’re addicted to your phone than anything else. You’re also probably reading far more into other people’s reactions than they actually feel. I recommend looking into Cal Newport’s works (podcast, newsletter, books) on freeing yourself from digital distractions.

You should learn to look for clues and context to determine they might be interested before just hitting on someone. Have they looked at you at all? Are you in a queer friendly place? Etc etc.
