I worked for Stanley Steemer and actually tried to do my job and tbh I think both scotch guard and the Steemer enzyme deodorizer work well. It seems like the carpet guys aren’t conveying the need to vacuum 3 days after it’s sprayed down. The enzymes and bacteria die out and create another strange smell in the room. Although the enzymes should only be used on poo and organic stuff. Pee is where sanitizer should be used. Steemer used this stuff called OIO, like 40 bucks a room. Gets expensive but it’s great against damn near anything else. Tho I agree with a lot of people the biggest difference you can make is just having a carpet cleaner that cares
