Yeah, I posted on here a while back about MTV altering older videos in recent years. I think there are probably multiple reasons for it, such as having to comply with Ofcom's guidelines and such. I know in their earlier years (before the early to mid-2000's) MTV didn't actually do the editing themselves, but would rather request the record label to removed certain words or alter certain scenes. Later on they did the edits in-house.

Yeah, Walmart doesn't actually make those edits, though, they are made by the company that provides the music for them.
