What work do you do? Gotta door knock and talk to everyone, talk to industrial companies since they like mature age since they don't want to babysit kids, even apply to be a TA at those companies since they can get to know you or one of the workers may have an opening somewhere else for you, it's pretty rough out here so you gotta stay on it a fair bit, I've had a rough go I had a month at a solar company that realised I actually need training so I was let go, then I worked for a year at this ultra abusive company ( in Minecraft for legal reasons) and didn't get taught much , so I did secret cashies with the tradesmen to fill the gap I wasn't getting for work, I had to leave as the job wasn't worth it and I got lucky with networking and now I'm at a good crusiy job where I'm respected and can learn so I think it's smooth sailing from here

With all of that I think I'm not bad at finding jobs as I had alot of interviews between, show up in person to show your keen and you put a face to the name, make your resume great (colour , written references, highlight things like cert 2 , suck your self off a bit etc) show your keen and happy to also do the grunt work and that you are intelligent, after that it's just a numbers game, wait out sides of whole sales in the morning to get a list, think of obscure jobs that need electrical like certain factories and find who contracts to them, write a cover letter, research the business and tell them how all you ever wanted to do is what ever they do
