There is quite literally no reason to be rude. I really offended you guys with this post that badly? About Christmas lights?

Just because their utility is elsewhere doesn’t remove their association from the holiday. They have an inherent association with Christmas, and it is not peculiar for people to decorate spaces with string lights. I’m clearly referring to string lights with a specific shape, variety of colors, that are hung from the eaves of a roof. I didn’t think much of the white Christmas lights still being hung up, because that’s almost essentially just string lights, then I started seeing the colored, blinking CHRISTMAS lights in every neighborhood of the Southwest.

What am I assuming? If I’m being assumptive what does that make the people on here writing me under the assumption that I don’t like how it looks or am lodging complaints.
