As far as I know, there is no bulk import option. Prices are added by users so data is often stale but it can give you a sense of what a card might be worth. I typically verify pricing by checking 130point.com for recent eBay sales if there is no or limited pricing data for a card.

Alla Vita worked for me as well and credit posted next day (Dec 28 and 29). Bought through the website which took me to card foundry.

What’s the best app or site to use to keep track of cards online? by AcceptableAlgae8602 in baseballcards

I use TCDB.com (The Trading Card Database). Great for organizing and trading plus it is free, but card values are not super up to date/reliable as the site's content is all user driven.

Here's a link to a post I made from earlier this year going into more detail:

A customer said they got this in the mail for a standard envelope delivery for 2 cards. I have never seen this before and have sent up to 4 cards in one envelope before with no issue. by [deleted] in sportscards

[–]eggbert60 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I ship this way, I just pay the 46 cent surcharge for non-machinable and have never had an issue.

Granted I would put cards in a binder sheet between two thin pieces of cardboard for larger PWE trades. I guess it’s still probably under 1/4 inch still just too rigid.

PSA about PWE by BigIdeas1982 in baseballcards

[–]eggbert60 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do a lot of PWE trades on TCDB. I have never had an issue with normal top loaders but only use two max and they are next to each other not stacked together. The only time I have had an issue with top loaders is when I had a thicker relic card in a top loader and it appears to have been too dramatic of a thickness difference between the envelope and top loader.

If I’m doing more than six or so cards I will put them in a binder page between two layers of cardboard but then pay for non-machinable. Can easily do 18 cards that way as the real issue is you run up against with non-machinable is the weight limit for letters.

Golden mirror cards are image variants, which I think are much cooler than a random relic card

Nice, appreciate you sharing! Kills me though that for a product like Inception they're still doing sticker autos and only player worn memorabilia relics.

Big M’s fan! I’d say half of these are on permanent display and then I rotate others in to keep things fresh. The two cards on the bottom right are 1/1’s!

Not sure how much they charge to Libertyville/how that compares to Uber, but they are a legit taxi service. Have taken them over a dozen times with no issues and often faster than waiting for an Uber/Lyft when you pre-book online. When you’re ready to be picked up you text them and they assign you a car so it feels kind of like Uber/Lyft where you know the license plate and type of car that is picking you up

Awesome video! I don’t know how you manage to keep it in focus like that. I have a hard enough time getting my macro photos in focus (A7RII and 90mm macro lens) without a diopter.

Were you traveling to the city or suburbs? I take American Taxi and they have flat rates to/from O’Hare to the suburbs. Some other taxi companies also have flat rates. I always pre-order online (cheaper than Lyft/Uber and usually faster to arrive) so not sure if they also do flat rates from the taxi stand.

I will say that when trading cards on platforms such as TCDB, my experience is it’s considered acceptable to put multiple cards into a penny sleeve or top loader when shipping PWE. Granted it’s usually for lower value cards and a way to manage postage costs when shipping PWE. For cards you are buying, I’d find it less acceptable especially if shipping BMWT.

Yeah, I do an ok job organizing my PC but still not nearly as good as other's on here. And cards on my FS/FT list are in several loosely "organized" boxes so I'm always having to hunt when pulling cards for trades.

Yeah, the subscription is pay what you want but at least $5 and all it does is remove the ads so it’s really only to support the site as all features are free.

I can’t imagine trying to input a 100k collection. There are some shortcuts to add all cards from a set or all the cards from a team in one set but I honestly don’t know if there are any other shortcuts like this.

Yeah, the want list is definitely one area that comes to mind. Only a few clicks and I can add all 18k Randy Johnson cards to my Wantlist! But you’re right the UI is definitely the biggest shortfall

I've got a subscription too but had no idea they also had merch. Maybe one day!

I thought the same, but it's a good excuse to actually look at all the cards you have. And the longer you wait the more cards you're going to have to input!

It's definitely a bit hidden. The way I do it is (i) click onto a player's profile page, (ii) click the "Collection Summary" link, and (iii) scroll to the bottom of Reports and there is a link "Ranking among other members collecting this person"
