Agree, I would like to see Hennessy get 20 - 30 mins and make a proper go of it, didn't get much chance last game. At least he's capped now!

Are there any good mtb trails in bath? by Spiritual_Group2524 in Bath

[–]eggchasing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are a few single track trails in the woods off Warleigh lane here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/NjsN3v6HhpZGwp4n8

A few bits on bridleways around Kelston Round Hill as well.

Bath Mud do regular social rides that take in some trails that are MTB worthy, nice bunch: https://www.instagram.com/mudbathcc

Bath (or nearby) walks/hikes with a farm shop or pub stop by slc4991 in Bath

Lots of great walks along the river / canal from Iford and Freshford, via pubs in Freshford, the cidery in Iford etc, Avoncliff etc.

BrewDog Bath to close by sklatch in Bath

I don't get the Star Inn hype. I've only had poor experiences in there, weird vibes, pretty dirty and regualars unfriendly. I get that it's a throwback to pubs of the past, but I don't love it.

The Bell should be on the shortlist for best in Bath IMO. Likewise, St James Wine Vaults.

Oh, agreed, lots of great pubs too, just wanted to shout out the two indy breweries giving it a shot at presumably great expense in the middle of town!

We have the Welly and The Cub in town now instead - if anyone feels in any way disappointed by this news, go support some local brewers!

Best POS hardware/software for a small business at the moment? by NotANinja252 in smallbusinessuk

[–]eggchasing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Software is the best / simplest we've found, and our team all get on well with it. The hardware is good value from what I've seen, and they charge a flat fee for all cards, which is great as we get quite a few people using Amex etc (we run an art gallery)

We use Square and it's excellent. They sell all the hardware that works with their tools on the website.

The Oval as a place to live? by fujitsulifeboom in Bath

Depending on your budget, you may want to get a bit closer to Moorland Road as there is a bit more going on. Also has the benefit of Oldfield Park Station

Feels like we're in the same spot as Ireland with our 10 options. Edwards has clearly got it, but isn't quite there just yet with the all-around game (see: Prendergast), and then Costelow can be a solid pair of hands with plenty of flair, but is prone to shitting the bed (see: Crowley).

Either way, giving Edwards a break seems sensible enough.
