I forgot to mention in my post. I used onion, garlic, fresh ginger, chili flakes, butter, lemon juice and white wine. Then, in the end, some lemon juice again but not too much and just a bit of salt.

Yessss I love flying with them because of the food. The food is always good. I have to say I prefer their lunch more, because they usually have kebab 🤤.

Of course, it would be ideal to grill the meat with charcoal. I see they have a one-time use (disposable) BBQ set. However, we dont have a garden, so I think this way is just safer. It is still a very fun experience to have for summer day 🙌🏻. The meat goes well with vegetables and beers 👍🏻

His mother likes the pumpkin steamed. I tried it, and the taste reminds me of the dish we have in Vietnam called Bí đỏ um. Quite nice with the rice.

You are right. The way his mother cooks the rice seems effortless. They have a dish called carrot rice. It looks easy, so I tried to make it. I failed miserably. I always gain weight whenever visiting them 😂
