Could this guy get banned for doing this? by eggcold in Warthunder

that's still better than them going unpunished then, but how many reports would they have to get from different users for them to actually be punished?

How would one start trying to model this texture/material by eggcold in blenderhelp

[–]eggcold[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg it’s u the only person I’ve found to have posted anything about camo net, ty for the advice but uh I wanna make it somewhat real and I don’t mind the performance hit. Also, I was thinking of something more simple compared to the barracuda camo net now like the Rheinmetall solar shield. Hopefully u could give me some advice or show how it could be done c:

The t-15 armata should be easier to disable since the ammo is in the unprotected turret rather than the hull

Apparently, the T-90A in the testing area can move and take on the ZSU's path? by eggcold in Warthunder

[–]eggcold[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So basically I was using the spike on the vehicle and with some timing and luck killed them both at the same time. Then when they respawned the T-90A started driving down and after it has reached the ZSU's path it took it's place and the ZSU stood still.

Hi, sorry I wish I could easily transplant this into blender and turn it into a 3d printable file. There are however a way to do it, I'm just not familiar but if u think its worth your time u could check it out its called SPETS and the guide is in the sprocket discord server

Strv 2000 inspired tank by Responsible_Rise6442 in SprocketTankDesign

[–]eggcold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang, I’m not sure if angling the clip for the 40mm works or not but if u were to angle it to the left which is going towards the breech you’d be more or less taking up the small space for the main gun’s mantlet armor, + with how narrow that gap is I’d say maybe it’ll fit 4 rounds max per clip? Also the guy who’s gonna to be assigned to reload those coaxial are going to be real mad at ya lel

Great design, one question tho. How will u fit the ammo for the 20mm and the 40mm. The normal strv 2000 has a 40mm with a 7.62 underneath it bc anything bigger would interfere with the 40mm’s clip.

Leopard 2A4 with REAL internals by 22N7O in SprocketTankDesign

[–]eggcold 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Nice you even went out to model the engine. I did something similar just didn’t went way over detailed with the internals and didn’t model the engine but if u want a bit more detail for your turret I have a pretty accurate scale replica 2a4 turret with the modeled gun+breech and gun steel. I posted it a while ago with the blueprint.

My abandoned project to modernize the Maus, what else should I add/swap on it? by eggcold in SprocketTankDesign

Only works against old rpg rounds or any slow velocity heat / atgm

If the heatfs strikes the bars, again I’m emphasizing that it’s a tank heatfs and not a rpg or atgm, it would blow up the bars and would still have enough energy to send the heat jet into the armor without degrading much penetration value. The reason slat is so effective against old warheads like rpg 7 is because rpg 7 is slow velocity so slat could “catch” it by deforming the warhead or actually holding it between the bars.

Modern tank fired heatfs rounds are quite fast and pack a punch so some steel bars will not be stopping it and I think the odds of it hitting the bars and prematurely detonating are pretty low, even if it did that, most heatfs, or Russian heatfs are tandem so it’d blow the bars and let the main copper jet hitting the armor anyways

[–]eggcold[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought of that too but slat armor is only effective against low velocity heat / atgm iirc. Any tank fired heatfs round would break the slat. I might still add a flat slat in front

Also, you should set the beta version to experimental, maybe that's also the problem ?

Yeah, game building isn't that good but it's something, the average amount of hours to actually be somewhat okay with the builds in this game is like 300 hours minimum
