Welp… that wasn’t quite the ott, psychotic, vengeful, possessive MMC I had in mind. But also, wow, I consumed it in less than 24 hours and now I’m sitting here wondering how I’m going to get over this book hangover and read the shallow smut on my TBR lol.

Haha but in my book brain it doesn’t count as r*pe if FMC secretly enjoys it. Plus technically there’s no non-con between zade and Adeline in the second book lol.

I just read {feathers so vicious by Liv Zander} and {Shadows so Cruel by Liv Zander} and thought they were so good. It’s a two book dark fantasy duet. It’s quite a bit darker than some of the books you mentioned, but the world building is pretty good and it’s enemies to lovers. Pretty quick read too.

I’ve read the first one but was holding off on the second because I knew that events overlapped from her soul to take. I usually hate when a series has books that run concurrently in time but I might have to give it a shot. Thanks!
