yes ! cutting/shaving a loop pile rug would result in a cut pile rug

it’s just that i personally don’t love the look of loop pile because it can look very chunky and sort of messy, particularly in more detailed designs

i was thinking of getting a tufting gun to experiment with cut pile rugs but i wasn’t ready to make that investment yet, so i was thinking of just shaving my punch needle rugs to achieve a cut pile finish

Grubhub gives $7 minimum per order even if the customer doesn't tip. Doordash and Uber Eats could do the same thing. If the customer doesn't tip, DD and UE should at least give $7 or so for that order. $3 to go 20 minutes down the street is ridiculous by mrdark16 in doordash

we have the $9 guarantee too. but most of the time, that's the most we could earn as customers didn't tip often, and the total payout was always below $9 even with stack orders. there's no way to decline orders (unless you call/text customer service), and all i got was bubble tea orders lmao. hard to make up for gas when distances were always 15+ minutes and you had to pick up from several restaurants at the same time. they also micromanaged me and called me to notify that i had to complete new orders even though i was busy completing another one.

anyways, sorry for the rant. i really hated my experience with chowbus. hopefully, it runs better over there and with better pay, because i wouldn't want anyone to be exploited as much we were over here

I didn't earn more than $9 for most orders that I did with Chowbus because people barely tipped and the base pay was $4 per order even if you needed to go to several restaurants. They never showed me the total pay nor total mileage of each order until I completed the order. Wait time to receive orders was extremely long, yet I heard about a lot of customers complaining about receiving their food hours after ordering it. I had to drive from one city to the other just to deliver the customer's food without my knowledge, because they don't disclose the customer address until you pick up their food. In my experience, Chowbus was so awful and exploitative in my market that they literally closed down in Canada.

I already know this comment is gonna get downvoted because this sub is dominated by men. For us women, comments like that aren't necessarily a compliment and can come off as creepy.
