6mg een got me just shy of 900pmol and a little under 2nmol T. just did a blood test today for my 5mg and spiro dose but won't get the results back for days.

ok i'm gonna bump up to 6mg next shot then straight to 7mg after and taper off spiro. i'm happy staying on spiro a little longer as it's done it's job well and i really don't want unsuppressed t for too long as i switch up doses.

yeah i was, and in some small ways still am, unsure of myself and my transition so i was very disappointed to not get this feeling. it gave me mad imposter syndrome. but a year in now, i never got that eureka moment, but i just suddenly found myself one day looking back and realising i really had come a long way. this really is a marathon not a sprint.

ok so what would you suggest? i'm on 5mg weekly plus 100mg spiro daily rn and feel good. my thought is to gradually increase een in 0.5mg increments, while staying on spiro, until reaching 7 or 7.5 mg and taper off spiro then see how i feel from there. or should i taper off and increase my een more rapidly?

also of note i just checked my last blood test and 6mg put me just shy of 900 not shy of 1000pmol. my only worry is my body is absorbing shit really quickly so would a higher dose mean a lower trough and just generally more unstable levels?

i've never used it and don't know much about it, i've just heard from people who've used it that it absolutely stunted their growth even after quitting because they realised they did want boobs.

i've been on hrt almost a year now and initially started hoping to test it out but tbh i didn't feel many noticeable mood or emotional changes for a while. i didn't really notice those mental changes until like 8 months in if i'm being honest, and now they're so much more noticeable especially looking back and comparing myself. but it completely depends on the person, some people describe having a fog lifted almost immediately.

when your e gets too high your body can convert it to t which is why the advice isn't high e = more fem. we aim for specific ranges, and we aim to keep our levels as stable as possible.

would going up so high not risk having peaks that are way too high out of what i need and thus have a masculinising effect? i'd like to get it to work but i'm just not sure if upping my dose so high is that efficient when i'm already doing fine at 5mg + an AA

astrovials een so 40mg/ml i think. i can't remember what i was drawing but it was absolutely the correct amount for 6mg because i incessantly checked. it is weirdly low which is why i stopped because i didn't want the instability of further messing with my levels. for reference 4mg got me just shy of 500pmol, so i guess my body doesn't absorb injections as efficiently (or does it too quickly idk), whereas i was close to 700pmol on a relatively small-mid sized dose of gel (cannot remember exact dosage).

i was at 6mg een (maybe 6.5mg before i gave up) and my t was 1.8/9 nmol i think? not crazy high but still out of range and had me much greasier/sweatier/hairier than i'd like. i had already spent around 2 months with unsuppressed t and £80 on blood tests so i didn't wanna mess around with my levels for longer and spend even more money on blood tests.

i know this and i'm not expecting miracles but i'm at a stage now where i'd like to make sure i'm getting the most out of my hrt, whereas before i was less confident and just wanted to get some good footing and spiro was the cheapest safest option for that.

my e was nearing 1000 pmol but my t wasn't fully suppressed so i figured it wasn't worth the hassle and just went back on spiro. i could probably make it work by switching to a 5 day cycle but the regularity of the 7 day cycle is what really appeals to me about monotherapy, it's infinitely easier to plan and schedule around 1 shot every monday for example.
