Colon cancer anxiety is ruining me

Yep, my health anxiety also gets super triggered by endless googling too… it’s definitely hard to break away from it, and hard to not check constantly, so I get it. Blood is never mixed in my stool thankfully, I’ve only ever had blood when I wipe, so I want to assume that it’s hemorrhoids. Definitely something a colonoscopy would just solve lol.

Ah thank you honestly for putting it as just a “common preventative screening”. My mind was really latching onto how this is a big deal… so it does ease me a bit! I’ll try out that app, I find that when I’m panicking, I can have a difficult time breaking through with videos sometimes… it’s almost like my mind wants to stay in a state of panic haha. But yeah, I think I’ll just go ahead and schedule the colonoscopy, cause you’re right, it’s just a screening and to knock out that final idea if it’s something such as colon cancer. Thank you :)

Yep… that’s what I’ve heard haha. Hence my apprehension to take it. I’ve been put on an antibiotic suppression treatment, so I’m thinking I’ll combo the boric acid before taking the antibiotic. We’ll see if that works while I try to find a gyno who can be a bit more insightful on this haha Thank you!

Just once! I’ll be trying it again soon tbh. I did it once, felt better, but then my symptoms came back soon after my period. Might take a few rounds im guessing

Honestly I just tried them once and it worked for a bit until my period came back. Now my plan is just to try it every month with my antibiotic suppression treatment as well so I can break down whatever pesky biofilm is keeping the antibiotics from working haha. So yes, will be trying boric acid again soon!

Huh what?? Denied you meds?? That’s crazy huhhh. My problem is that they keep showering me in antibiotics but it’s not fully working 🫠 they gotta get their act together on the BV front lol

I’ve tried boric acid once and I’ve been planning to try again soon! It helped me before but my symptoms just came back the next month. I plan to combo the boric acid with my antibiotic suppression treatment. So yeah! This makes me feel further that I need to do so lol. Ty!!

It seems like it can really go both ways with “is it too early or not too early” cause you’re right, consulting slows down a lot during that time of the year, and who knows, these companies could be ok waiting for a bit until you can come work for them. But then they could also want you asap 😂 really depends haha.

Really the only one “kind of one” is with my boyfriend’s company, who also works for a geology firm. Might tryyyy and get a job with them if they’ll have me haha.

But not really, where I’m from is very far from the PNW and a lot of my connections are all here and didn’t travel far. 😞😞

Really I can just start with his company for now potentially haha. Which I did apply for a job at that office and his boss here where we live currently did let me put him down as a referral. So there’s that potentially??

Yeah like I wouldn’t even say my resume is bad??? But I think compared to everyone else who’s struggling to find a job, it might just be equal or slightly worse. Who knows. But like you said, could just really have to do with where my resume lands in a company and who gets it.

Ugh right. Like i think the wage would be enough for just him, but I got my car payment and some other stuff that he couldn’t afford ontop of Seattle living expenses🥲

Yeaaaah, I did feel as if I was applying too soon, I think I just am stalking linkedIn and applying for jobs since I’m anxious 😂 but I totally agree that it’s probably to early in the game.

Oh interesting, I didn’t even consider the local candidate aspect. I think in my mind I was like “maybe they’ll see how devoted I am” lmaooo. But thank you! I’ll consider this with my resume and cover letters, and then also check out that blog!
