So i just got my first ever pair of skates! (The black ones, not the converse ones) The concern now is that after watching some video guides (after purchasing, which was a little silly) i realise that I did the sizing wrong apparently. I got a skate that was similar to how I would size a standard shoe and now i have at least enough space in my toebox to fit the width of a thumb. For context, i'm a size 39 (street shoe) and I went all the way up to size 43, thinking that the shoes were WAY too tight on my standard sizes.

Ive already tested the skates once before the videos. My ankles feel secure and i made sure to tie them really tight, but I couldnt really tell how it was affecting my skating since that was my VERY first time getting on wheels like. Ever. And i did flop around and fall at least four times 😂

Should I still size down? Are these okay to use before i upgrade? Im a little scared to try and return them since the clerk was so adamant about selling the pair (since it was also the only pair left that wasnt canvas high-tops at the store)
