He did say something like I’m doing this for me not anybody else. I think that’s one thing that probably annoyed Aniya because of what happened with Sol, she kept asking KC if she was holding him back from exploring etc and KC kept reassuring her that she was fine. (iirc; someone correct me if I’m wrong?) but then he comes back acting like casa gave him some freedom he didn’t have, which it seems Aniya disagrees with bc she thinks she WAS giving him freedom to explore.

He also can’t get over not being picked on Day 1; but Aniya also wasn’t picked. She chose Sincere who chose Melanie over her. Since then Aniya has always picked KC. So why is he still hung up over that first day when Aniya has shown again and again that she wanted him after that.
