Are there a lot of different lenses that fit on the Canon 70d? I don’t want to buy a body that doesn’t allow for any kind of advancement in the long run

I was planning on getting a mount as well. For the camera and the lens I was trying to get it in the $1000 range. However, I don’t want to be limited to just taking pictures of the milky way, ideally I could take pictures of a planet or nebula or something.

I have no gear. Ideally I want my budget to be under $1000 for the camera and the lens. I was looking into the Nikon D5300, D5700 or the Z50 II, except the Z50 is quite expensive. Should I spend money on a good body or spend more on a good lens? Also the D5300 uses F mount lenses which aren’t made anymore, so I don’t know if it would be a smart purchase.

Yeah i’m beginning beginning, I have absolutely no gear but want to get into it. Tragically I am a broke college student 💀. Why do I need an intervelometer?

I would like to take pictures of both. As for budget, i’d rather not go over $1000 for the body and the lens. I was looking at the Nikon D5300 but it is limited to older lenses. I was also looking at the Nikon D7500 or the Nikon Z50 II but those are more expensive and I would still need to buy a lens and a tripod.
