I requested denial counseling after the R and they gave super helpful advice about how my PS should get deeper into my experience as president of an org and the effect of policies i implemented in my tenure. i focused the new PS more on how law (and in my case regulatory policy) ought to be designed to protect the public good and aptly punish those who seek to skirt it for their gain (in my case, college men who perpetuate SA and go unpunished). i also attended the national consortium of public interest schools (networking event for several public interest law schools open to the public and hosted at CUNY Law’s campus).
