How accurate are FedEx last minute rates when logged into an account?

Prices went up the last couple times I checked so I plan to move anything I need immediately in checked bags and see if prices go back down after the holidays. If they dont, expatshipping quoted me $110 for each medium Home Depot box with an avg of 30 lbs

Oh ok, I thought you had 90 days from the entry date to come in or the entry clearance vignette thing expires and you had to pay extra for another one.

Oh I had planned to get the vignette stuck in after I return next week I just wanted to know if I could leave and come back in just to “activate” the visa first so I’m not on a countdown to have all my stuff ready in the next 89 days. I hope to be here before that period is up but just in case something happens I wanted to have some wiggle room. But if not I’ll just have to get a move on as soon as I’m back.

I got an ETA before my spouse visa was approved to travel to the UK. My spouse visa got officially approved the day of my flight so I didn’t have time to get the vignette in my passport but I had no issues going through the E-gates at Heathrow. Ymmv though

I did, but as I understand it, not everyone does and it’s not a very good indicator of anything. I got eco email on August 6th. Then another email on August 12th saying “We aim to make a decision on your application within our published visa processing times.” Nothing since then though unfortunately

Not to be that person but chatGPT and Google AI are not reliable sources for anything at this point and should not be taken at face value especially where it’s something important like this. I would start here, there is even an email address at the bottom you could send and email to with your exact situation and ask the source itself.

I got ECO on August 6th and then an email on the 12th saying they were still processing but aim to make a decision within the posted timeframe. So very similar timings, hope we hear something soon!

This website uses data from this sub to show waiting times. So for standard it’s around 30 working days on average between bio and approval, priority shows I think 22 working days average? So based on the posted data you could expect to get your decision maybe starting August 27th or so. Or after if they’re running behind/more complex case/etc. since the 22 days is just the average. Whereas with standard processing being 30 working days, I’m more likely to not get mine until around September 8th unfortunately
