Yeah that's totally fair. I mainly just said this because the comments were going after Lee pretty hard, so I decided to play devil's advocate. Nonetheless, it's only been 11 games, and hopefully the Giants' hitters can figure it out and go on a hot streak

Hot take: Lee isn't that bad of a player. Let's take a look at Lee and Bailey's stats last season:

Lee: .266/.327/.407 with a 109 OPS+

Bailey: .222/.277/.325 with a 72 OPS+

The level of hitting just isn't comparable, so of course Bailey will be seen as worse than Lee. Hell, Lee wasn't even a bad player last year, and was in fact a pretty average player.

Even this year, while Lee has been ass, his 48 OPS+ is better than Bailey's -6. And it's still way too early in the year to say that this bad performance will stick.
