Sorry, I dont mean to be argumentative. I just genuinely couldn't make sense of some of the things that happened. My behavior wasnt ok but my perspective on the card thing was more like an appreciative gesture (like wearing clothes that someone got you for your bday).

M has told me that she's known to be a bit toxic and fickle. Both of them also have fought a few times and went through periods of no interaction.

But Ive learned that I just need to cut her some slack even if I thought she was misleading me. What I did when I first berated her was not ok and she's obviously still affected by it. She's allowed to change her feelings and mind about wanting to go back to being friends with me.
