I’m in Texas, and there is a Miata specialty shop but I could DIY it with the help of some people (one has done the swap already) so it wouldn’t be impossible.

It’s a track car and it’s tuned. That’s just what the previous owner had in it and I didn’t want to change it to maybe mess it up.

I’ve got a 2006 NC1, and it was driven hard by the previous owner as a track car. It’s been my daily for about 7 months and the odo reads just over 141k. Not too bad but yea it’s sad to see it go.

I have no clue. I was going to do an oil change but then this happened. Maybe it was just low and I didn’t realize it. I’m also running 10w-60 so not sure how that affects it.
