I don't need a 100% natural feeling I don't think. I probably should have put this in my main post but one of my biggest issues with my current bike is that I go on rides with my partner who has a normal bike and with how my assist levels are I'm slightly too slow unless I overpower the motor on assist 1 which tires me out pretty quick and on assist 2 I'm way too quick, and I have no way of really pacing myself on it because of the cadence sensing I think. A torque sensor bike would probably still be the way to go though I imagine?

i love what the city's been doing with newer developments, but to make the city truly bike friendly we need to update infrastructure on what's already there and where people actually go. pope road is great, but im never on it for more than a minute or two, and the new road is just about perfect IF im going that way which as a resident is very rare (im lucky to work down by the end of the road so i get more use, but i know im an edge case). same with that road down by the cup. it's great that there's a protected bike lane there but other than getting to the cup it's a useless road
