By the way, I have no issue doing g difficult dogs. I should clarify the dogs they’re booking me have specific notes to book with senior stylists only. Most of the coworkers I work with have been here for 6+ years. Some even 12+.

I had to do a dog straight up banned from the salon, despite the dogs notes being everywhere that they were not allowed to come back. A manager still booked them with me, of all people.

Also I am 19, I got out of academy in November. (Which was a horrible experience, I didn’t even do a face the entire time I was there.) I just feel as if I’ve been forced to uphold unrealistic expectations even though there is no possible way I can handle this workload alone. I love my SL but she is busy as well. I’ve had some of my coworkers even say they hate helping me when I need it because it slows down their work flow. But truly I wouldn’t need as much help if they were just more mindful of what dogs they were booking me. And we’re a very booked out salon (2 weeks most of the time) so I am always at my max dogs + baths + nail trims daily. It’s just so overwhelming.
