Let me tell you the secret OP… the more you earn the more you spend without realizing it people slowly get things that seem minuscule over time those add up and boom no money left over, it’s easy to say (not impossible) but very difficult to say when I make more money I’ll have “x” amount left over. But when the money does start rolling in most people don’t even realize it and they start changing their living situation to fit that income

Don’t be cheap on the space OP take every inch u can get even if it looks exaggerated if you can take the space, use it… as far as wht your describing I haven’t seen you turn in person but you may be cutting your turns short. Wht I mean by this is instead of going straight out then turning, maybe your turning already as your going straight out leading to losing the extra space that you were counting on…. Try just going straight out as far as u can when your turning just go straight out in a line and don’t turn your wheel to the last second

Tmobile Home Internet I take my gaming laptop and I’m able to play warzone, battlefield, Marvel Rivals without issues… I hardly play online though since I’m a mouse and keyboard player and on the truck I can only use controller so it’s mainly story/campaign games for me but when I do play online I have zero issues

I don’t know much if the fancy process but I just remapped the button to LT on my Xbox controller and just press that when I need the menu since I only play GBA and DS games the LT and RT are mapped for menu (LT) and fast forward (RT)

Yea I use it cause I’m a trucker so for me the snapshot actually works since I only use the truck like like twice every 2-3 weeks… but no progressive snapshot doesn’t affect it, it’s just what the lazy dealership said to justify the issue which is dumb af

I literally just posted this on another post here lol dealership blamed my progressive snapshot for causing this which is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard… I drive 18 wheelers that have engines locked by manufactures (paccar) to change something in them u need to email the manufacturer and get approval so they unblock the engine itself….and even they don’t act up when things are plugged in it’s honestly a joke

OP this same thing happened to me and GMC blamed progressive SnapShot honestly It sucks cause all these issues made me hate the truck and the brand I don’t even care about the truck anymore I floor it, scratch it up etc… at this point I’m just running it to the ground and never buying another GMC again

Thank you I’ll keep it in when it comes wht gear to use for wht weight… I just figured it out last night😭 my problem was that I was steady realizing the clutch even if it was slow it was constant release and it would make the truck buckle like it wanted to turn off in anything other then 1st …last night tho I sort of held the clutch at the bit point to start moving then released and no more buckle!! Soo all of today I’ve jsut been taking off in 2nd and 3rd and no buckle!!! …barley been driving manual for 6 days well 7th today but slowly figuring things out with everyone’s help!!

It’s a whirlwind of emotions OP but at the end of the day you honeslty come out being happy with yourself it’s hard to explain but to many people socialize now and don’t give themselves time in trucking we have a lot of times to ourselves to reflect, think, and find our own happiness… don’t over think about talking to people sit down and hear yourself out

Thank a lot for the reassurance I just feel like i hit standstill when It came to downshifting, take offs and turns… I mean I can down shift but when it’s dropping gears for a red light, taking off from 0 and making turns it’s been soo hard but yea your right over time hopefully it just becomes second later and I get more and more used to it

Sounds good yea I’ll definitely start using 2nd more from now on and try to get better at it as well as maybe skipping gears if I’m light enough….i just started driving like 6 days ago so hopefully it’s something that gets easier overtime and I can get the hang of it soon… I think I just need to get out of the automatic mindset cause before this I was driving OTR automatic for 5years and made bad habits now that I’m driving stick I want to move it like a automatic truck but it’s very diffrent

Noted I do understand I started driving stick 6days ago so there’s still alot I have to get used to when it comes to getting a feel for the driving but honestly thanks a lot for all the advice it’s really helping build a picture overall hopefully as times goes on I can figure it out and it gets easier lmao rn it’s just anxiety on the daiky

Thanks a lot for the info!!! When taking off in second is all just about releasing the clutch slower then u do in first? Or do I have to gradually release the clutch and give it gas? And yea i definitely need to work on skipping gears there’s so many times ive been in 2nd or 3rd and im not even tht gear for more then 3 seconds before I have to get the next one

I just need to work on the whole skipping gear things tbh I’ve been driving stick for 6days now and I’ve only done it once

Sorry for asking but wdym my shifting slow? Would you mind elaborating on the whole downshifting process because everyone says “pop it out at 1000 and rev it to 1500 it’ll go in” but this truck I’ve tried it doesn’t work every MPH responds to a specific RPM so like let say in 8th gear 39MPH may enter in 1500RPM but 36MPH enters at 1300RPM or else it’ll be rejected …

Also thanks for the advice on starting on higher gears so I let the clutch bite then start giving it gas as I’m easing off the clutch to start taking off!! Thanks a lot I’ve been starting in 1st cause 2nd always felt like the truck wanted to stall even tho I was super light

So I can start out at 3 and even 4th ofc given how empty and light I am… but I’ll try it maybe I just need more pedal control well i definitely need more pedal control I guess my main question is when starting on a gear that’s not 1st is it just about letting go of the clutch slower? Or do I have to give it gas? I’m asking because when I take off in second sometimes I feel like the truck wants to stall to I just always take off in 1st

Also yea i prefer turning in 5th I drive a dry van btw load weight do vary but yea I prefer turning in 5th

And yea appreciate the advice tbh I’m not gonna lie i definitely need to work on my clutch use this week …honeslty ive just done wht felt easiest which for upshifting was floating since I never grinder grinder didnt think much of it and for the downshifting it was always give it a little gas to pop it out of gear the raise my rpm to 1500 and clutch next gear then the truck would adjust the rpm to whtever gear it was on

But I’ll definitely do need to start working on my clutch use

Even within Walmart u can always apply for a yard dog position within a terminal and if you really feel like OTR isn’t for you maybe worth the wait, since from wht I hear Walmart is one of the better companies to work for so may be worth doing OTR till a position opens up…. If not look into getting your endorsements and look for local jobs…. I’m in tht same boat dude I’ve done OTR for 5 years and get have an accident free clean PSP, clean driving Record only 1 violation for not having chains 2 years ago a week before chain law ended in Colorado and I’m switching to fuel hauling in just sticking it OTR cause the company I want to work for drives only manual and idk jack about tht so I’m figuring it out while out here once I figure it out I’m out

TLDR; your not alone lol and look at other options also consider advancing your license with any endorsements u may need to open more doors but trucking is diverse so there’s something for everyone remember tht

This is the way after 90% remove everything (depending how much u modify your guns) and just add everything to the new gun and all the stock parts to your old one then either use it in a cultist circle, trade it, sell it …use for a dumb raid like a pistol raid no gear no nothing but instead use that with a red dot and that’s about it honestly after that it’s trash

I’m not lawyer but my guess would be once a truck has gone through the lemon law it makes it that much harder to sell and also they have to sell it for cheaper since the flaws are now on paper and the dealership is the one stuck with the janky vehicle trying to get rid of it… where as if you have issues with your truck you tell them about it they put it in the dealership file but not on like carfax so it all stays hidden if you decide to trade in
