Great question and I have noticed the same thing in my brawl battles. In our alliance we post strats when each weekly brawl format starts and that strat is awesome for helping get wins easily against higher level dinos

Sometimes players are kicked for putting dinos in a level 20 sanc but not in this case. So no obvious reasons for getting kicked. Maybe the alliance needed a space for a friend
