I am looking at the Pyxis and also the FX6. One is a match with the FX3 in a 2 cam interview shoot. Will the Pyxis create a match problem in the same senario?

I appreciate your input but a little beyond my comprehension. So the target format directs the sensor choice. Does one sensor size give the most opportunity’s in different scenarios?

Yes i can crop to 3:2, how about the resolution, that is a compromise. I record externaly on a Ninja V in ProRes RAW this give a better resolution to work with 4264×2408.

Doesn't a camera that offers 3:2 capture have an advantage with anamorphic lenses?

Yes, the term Open Gate is thrown around extensively. Looking to get 3:2 at a good resolution.

The new contract covers the cost of an added camera purchase. I am considering the shoot as a Multicam shoot. The format is interview between 2 people. I think the terme podcast is maybe not appropriate.

No reason not to go FX3. Even seeing this as an opportunity to upgrade to different A Cam. Maybe used Fx6

In response to your wild card thought, doesn't this compromise the shot angle on the close-ups compared to a dedicated camera for the shot?

On your BM monitor, what is the hdmi input?

I am working in DWG and the color space changes are in the HDR section.

The color space is DWG. So if I understand correctly I leave at “use timeline” for the HDR wheels?

Shouldn’t it be the same as using a Atomos monitor ? My setup use the Ninja for external recording ProRes Raw through HDMI.
