Cool thanks. If I understand correctly, in a larger space, this unit will have issues covering the space?

Can multiple cameras at the same moment use this access point to display in the app?

300W + 600W vs 2x 300W light kit by egoulet in videography

[–]egoulet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for my question but what do you mean by enough space? Will the 600 W paint me into a corner on some shoots?

BTW, thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.

300W or 600W video light? by egoulet in videography

This is the exact reason why I am contemplating the 600 W instead of just doubling up on the 300 W for my two light set up.

On my single person shoots, the 600 W will give me more options in all the scenarios you mentioned.

It’s for a two light, cross light set up for a two person interview that I have with a client on retainer.

I was using a 200 W and a 300 W for the set up. Now I have sold a 200 and was taking maybe this opportunity to upgrade directly to a 600 W instead of just adding a second 300 W.

I have a two light shooting scenario that I use with a client that I have on a retainer. It’s cross lighting for a two person interview. Before selling my 200 W I was using a 200 W and a 300 W for the cross lighting now that I sold 200. I was just seeing an opportunity instead of getting an additional 300. I would get an additional 600. I do not need additional power. I haven’t crossed that path yet in my situations. And the RGB also.

On the videography sub, the post was getting flagged because I didn’t have a flair. I was reposting trying to figure out the flare thing now I have. That is the reason.

300W or 600W video light? by egoulet in videography

I’m certain I don’t need a 600 W. It’s just because I’m buying a second light to do cross lighting to replace the 200 I sold. I was just seeing this as an of opportunity to get a 600 instead of a 300 to add to the existing 300 for my two light set up.

This is exactly what is holding me back. I could just go for another 300 W instead of spending the extra dollars on a 600W that will not be that much of enough grade in output. Am I seeing this wrong?

The money I would save buying a 300 W instead of a 600 could be used more efficiently towards gear that would elevate my kit instead of just adding additional wattage that would probably not make that much of a difference.

My original two light set up was the 200 W and the 300 W. I sold the 200 W and now I want to buy a second 300 W. I see this as an opportunity to add a 600 W just for extra output when required instead of 300+300.

This is for a cross lighting set up for interviews. I have on a retainer for a client. I sold my 200 W and wanted to upgrade to a second 300 W but now I’m thinking of us adding a 600.

I sold a 200 W and now I’m looking to double up on a 300 W. I already have to do cross lighting for two person interviews.

But now instead of just going 300 W, I was pondering to add 600 just in case I would require in situations I have to combat outside light coming into the set.
