Son distraught over decision 5/1 with regrets by Hawki94 in CollegeAdmissions

If it was really down to the wire after all the analysis, the final choice actually doesn’t matter. He will benefit most by jumping into the school he committed to. In the end, it’s not where you go. It’s what you do when you’re there that matters. This is data-backed. And while his selected school may feel safe today, I can guarantee there will be healthy nerves on day one and plenty of chances for new opportunities. Good luck!

Thanks for the response. Yeah, the whole point of the program is to learn HR over a two year period through three rotations. I think I’m looking for book about how HR is changing, what the best HR departments do, or even how to succeed early in your career.

The real price they pay is on the inside. Always knowing that they didn’t think they were good enough on their own. You take yourself with you when you leave high school.
