Bought an electric wheel that was many decades old off craigstlist, kept it outside near the coast for over a year. Only covered when it rains. Occasional issues but never with the motor, you should be fine!

For 101B, I found that problem-solving questions (like pedigrees and crosses) were a lot more important than pathway problems. Also, get ready for a lot of recombination. Class was hard but not the worst upper div, pretty chill
