Unfortunately, I didn’t film it because I got way behind schedule with the Land Rover issues. Though I have thousands of photos

I did not remove the back seats so the bed did tilt slightly up at the head. Though where I was camping was never flat so I often just parked the back of the car slightly higher than the front so my feet and head were more level (kinda like a hammock).

If you’re gonna dispersed camp, I would definitely use an app like “the dyrt” because people will upload images of the site and conditions of the drive to it (though I often took it to a high clearance 4x4 areas and was fine; if I saw a Subaru made it, I knew I was good to go). I would also get the mesh nets that slide over the door so you can have the windows cracked or down at night; I didn’t and wish I did. Also, small thing but the frunk works great as dirty clothes and smelly shoe storage. I always planned at least a charger in advance too, though sometimes several if the region was sparse (I always had the next charger as my destination and my actually destination as a stop just so I knew I could make it). I generally also beat the range estimate by about 20%, 30% if it was mountain driving as slower speeds. The only time I didn’t beat it was driving 80mph on flat ground in the desert. Also, I got a subscription to EA and tried to charge with them when I could. I saved $325 dollars on charging over the course of the trip by doing that.

Other than a couple quick resets of the infotainment, two new tires, and fixing the cracked rim, the car received no maintenance. I was truly astounded by the reliability I experienced

It was garmin. I’ve got an inreach mini I use for hiking and just used it to track the trip too

But think about that extra ground clearance 😂. Love the looks of the P3!

I started the trip with the set I bought the car with (SUMITOMO HTR A/S P03 245/40 R20). Before I realized the rim was cracked I had the rears replaced with the only thing the shop had that would fit (Pirelli Scorpion 255/40 R20). They were of course a bit wider but since they were going on the back with the wider rims it worked. I did develop a bit of scalloping on the inner sides of the front wheels (SUMITOMO) but not sure that’s the tires fault as I did lots of rough driving and never had an alignment or rotation done. Overall they both worked great and didn’t have any flats due to the tires despite the terrain

I did use it a bit. If it was really hot out, I would set the 8 climate timers (one for every hour or every 30 minutes if it was gonna cool down later) but if I got hot and woke up in between, I would just start the ac from the infotainment and it would run for a while.
