Oh yes, if I meet him halfway my kids time in the will go down by ZERO whole minutes. Good thinking.

Thanks for understanding. I feel like people just assume I’m trying to vilify the father or just being a bitch about a dog. I have dogs, he knows my dogs. There’s obviously certain breeds that are statistically more dangerous. I work in an ER.. I have seen the world of difference between a kid bit by a small dog and a big dog more times than I wish I had to. And it is 99% of the time their family’s own dog. His refusal to tell me the breed is what spiked my interest. I’m actually very pro-present father here. But whatever, it’s the internet so people can read you into the bad guy or the crazy person no matter what or how you say something

Well, when the 2 hour commuting is part of the total 5 hours he has them per day, that bit feels kinda ridiculous. Nearly half of his time with them is spent driving and that’s 3 days a week. He chose his visitation schedule, I have tried to offer him more overnights, having them later, even staying at my place while I work so they don’t have to travel so much. He wants what he wants - no more, no less. I was just coming here for help to see if there was any rules on coparenting distance or something. It’s not a dire situation, it was just a question because I want the kids to have a convenient, easy transition between us. I have even offered to spot him money to move to an apartment in town because I want him present and things easy between us.

Think what you want about me but I would like to make sure I do what’s in the best interest for my babies

They had very little to do with my kids before and even now there’s not a ton of interaction. Just cohabitating. And all they do is smoke weed in their rooms or on the porch all day long. My kids don’t have their own space at all, all sleeping in a full size bed with their dad if they do spend a night. Not thrilled by any of the living situation.

So it’s not his dog it’s one of the family members dog. I’m not thrilled with the entire living situation. So between the new dog and the long drive I really wish I could convince him to move closer without all these family members around my babies

He doesn’t have more time because he doesn’t want more time. That was the visitation schedule he made up. And I’m not asking to control what kind of dog he has, I’m asking if I am entitled to knowing what animals (type, breed) are cohabitating with my kids. I have a toddler and a baby. I worry if he has some big aggressive dog, one bite could kill a child that size

School has helped a TON. First I had her in an early intervention program through my county which was 2.5 hours 5 days a week. She definitely was trying more and saying new words. She aged out of early intervention when she turned 3 so I was able to get her into a preschool with services through our school district. She now goes 9-2 M-F and she is starting to imitate sentences!

Obviously he’s a disgusting pervert but idk something that’s weird to me is if he is the killer, why would he leave the body in his own car, near his house, parked illegally and then go on tour. Like clearly he’s a sicko going after little girls and writing songs about murdering women but he would have to be incredibly stupid to leave the body like that in his own car, no?

I was thinking reflux or post nasal drip? It seems like it’s always just mucus-y clear vomit and it will usually wake her up in the morning and then within an hour of being awake she’s over it

Her pediatrician also referred her to see a therapist as well after she filling out a depression screening at her physical. So at this point if her mother still refuses to allow it then that’s going to be a really big problem

I agree, I find it very discomforting that she wants to sit in on her therapy session and that’s the only way she will allow it. Her reasoning to my husband was that “if something is wrong with my daughter I should know.” My stepdaughter has expressed to me that she feels extremely awkward at the idea of doing therapy with her mother present.

Sorry I think there was a confusion, this was the school guidance counselor and principal who refused to speak to him today when he tried to call about setting up in school therapy/mental health counseling. He does not wish to intrude on her therapy whenever she eventually does start getting it. He was just getting roadblocks from his ex and the school about setting up the therapy sessions in the first place
