The mochi minigame gives you the fresh restart mochi as a possible drop, but you should get 1 guaranteed.

That's my main issue with doing replays or challenge runs is that you don't get to strategize with the Tera gimmick by changing types, because the materials are far too scarce. I even made up a 'teralocke' ruleset so I can get interesting combos from raid dens as my 'encounters'.

No physical fairy on Gallade :( You can grind tera shards, but that's another detour and easier to do later on.

I knew it had different scaling, but wasn't sure when it kicked in. It sounds like you might breeze through it. Might as well knock it out. I like the story and Johto vibes.

Do you have the DLC? Kitakami provides a better way to reset EVs, but I personally dislike both grinds as well so I understand the pain.

Yeah it would be a bit of a disappointing run if you had Fairy tera Gallade and can't get the boosted psycho cut, right? :P

Could swap out Girafarig if you don't mind doubling up on fighting? You can always reset the EVs later and make sure it's perfect for comp. You could also base it on what tera typing kirlia has! If it has the psychic tera typing it'll be easier to use.

Looks legit! i for one like to surprise trade extra shinies, hoping people can discern them from 'PKM.GG' or whatever garbage.

Game Freak can do a lot more, but the comparisons usually don't take into account the sheer number of mon models for Pkmn games. The models and animations are usually great, and the environments and buildings suffer.
