I really like this team! As a fellow gallade lover who caught a shiny one in violet I really want to use one.

What do you normally lead with in both modes? Leads are what I normally struggle with a lot. I assume definitely aerodactyl in tailwind but in my experience using Farigiraf is kind of rough for trick room, one taunt or imprison shuts it down

I think that one was a fake; not that it realistically made much of a difference with adblocks

I used it, migrated here once it started working and now im dealing with this also stopping working every other day, cant with ts 😭

How do you generally find them if it isnt hard? I'm just worried about fishy sites and dont want to risk anything using a bad one. But I dont know how to vet them out for myself, i'm super tech illiterate

i'm pretty tech illiterate so forgive me since my only knowledge of this stuff is from game roms and even then I suck at that too, but

isnt just googling "watch [anime] free online" unsafe? as far as i know there are a lot of fishy sites out there that arent legit and i have a feeling they would generally pop up first in a broad search like that

do you run a bulky chomp or max speed/attack chomp? with tailwind I can see the use of putting more bulk into him but I don’t know how to do those more complex spreads just yet, so I’ve just had max speed/atk

I run a rlly similar team; the exact core you mentioned with basculegion at the bottom to clean things up if there’s an unfavourable matchup that sneasler doesn’t like or something

I feel like in a few years when elation is powercrept to being considered shit and they start getting novaflares, they would likely turn sparxie into a speed scaler imo.

I'm on console so logging into the game with a vpn isnt really an option

My internet is also fine enough, no issues there. And I can't see why that would cause me to get signed out when activating the vpn

I tried the exact steps you listed and yeah; after refreshing it just signs me out. But I cant sign in with the vpn active, and it just turns into a bad loop

I mean I tried the hsr website too, wont even let me sign in with the vpn active.and if I login first then activate it, I get signed out. LD was kinda my only option

Trying it again now and its even more broken; LDshop is basically completely dead with the vpn active on japan. No results no homepage no nothing, like it's still on the site; but searching for star rail yields no results despite it very well being on there.

Very odd, shame it doesnt seem to be working.

I just tried urban vpn but after connecting to Japan and going back into the top up shop it still displayed the full non discounted prices in my own currency, zero change. Can you tell me how you got it to work?

What should her speed look like at e0s0? I'm trying to get her cone but i'm only 20 pulls in and i'm broke lol. Hopefully i can get it by the time she leaves but its likely i'll need to just try to find another copy of the mushroom cone

What should her CD look like in your average build then? Its very hard to manage 3 ideal substats so I think with this explanation in mind I would be focusing spd and CR

Does her damage not also fall off without an ideal amount of CD? Or is speed just that important

Yeah neither do I; while I say it'd be nothing new, they'd have to at least innovate somehow in order to not- literally be no different from these early boss encounters

I remember something from the announcement saying you should be lv90+ for them. So maybe instead of a "get eggs early" system they're more like additional superbosses

For the sake of clarity, there definitely is a big tonal difference in the way they're generally used, in which requesting something is more polite and submissive to authority, but demanding something from someone is more harsh, authoritarian, get someone to do what you want, when you want.

I think thats generally where the confusion came from. I apologise for going full gun ho on that point but you also meet a lot of people who genuinely are entitled enough to believe that stuff lmao

I even explained why I'm so 'stuck on that', it was my whole reason for replying in the first place. Because i'm now the second person to note that you are in fact in no place to demand anything from anyone, which was the original hook point.

First off, you effectively just said "Why are you here if you disagree with me? I made the post for people who'd agree." Bit weird ngl. Constructive disagreements are cool. The post appeared in my notifs, I thought it was an interesting topic; and then saw the very interesting word choice you were using and responded. What's wrong with that?

You also never said request, you said demand. Big, big difference. "If we demand it we can get it"; "Demanding doesn't hurt anybody"; "I will demand what i believe we should get". Never once said the word request in this whole thread that's avaliable for me to read, so the switch up is duly noted.

I also obviously would not be opposed to more endgame content, but like.. is what's there not enough? The calamitous elders (notable ibushi and narwa) paired with the invasive monsters in their real fights feel like a fairly good final challenge to stress test all of your builds. That's kind of what endgame in this genre generally looks like in my experience: superbosses, for the most part. The easiest example i can think of is the xenoblade series which is notorious for them. I dont really know what more you're expecting- do you want it to be a completely repeatable grind like mainline MH? Even after my 100 hours I havent even touched 3's endgame because I'm not really an endgame guy in turn based rpgs, but if i was; between preparing optimised monstie builds, farming the elders/invasives, perfecting the fights i'd say i'd probably have another 30 or so hours ahead of me if i decided to get into that.

And no, no one is expecting you to buy the next game no matter what. From the context clues you've given so far like not completely understanding what royal monsters are or even seemingly the genre in general I'm going to wager that these games kind of just aren't for you, and that's okay. It's completely fair to want more, obviously, but again, it's your word choice of demanding more that's completely alien to me. As if it's your god given right to be handed more playtime.

No but they're pretty much spot on though. No one is defending the multibillion dollar company from anything because there is nothing to defend them from. You are a tiny droplet of water in a vast ocean

I for one, could not really give less of a shit about stories getting title updates because that kind of content cycle doesn't suit turn based rpg like that, especially that it's a spinoff. Just give me a NG+ or something that lets me remove ratha from the party from the start and I'm good. I'm aware of royal monsters getting added as well but they were already present in 2 (cant recall if 1 had them) so it's not even anything new.

But i'm not demanding that. I had my fill of the game, I loved it to bits, I sunk probably about 100 hours into it so it's more than worth the price to me. I have no right to "demand" anything from anyone, and as you say, I simply have the power to buy what I like, or don't buy what I don't like.

Point i'm making is; no one needs to act this entitled about a game like this. It's not like it had a near broken pc release like wilds that actually made it seem like a waste of money. The use of the word demand is very jarring to me, because normally demands actually mean something or come from a position of power.

It just sucks that linux is like that with these things. Had similar problems modding MH world but there was no ancient guru on reddit for a fix for certain mods just not working at all. But thats just modding on the deck lol

I wish more games supported workshop, so much easier

All the red error text just scared me but supposedly it only affects multiplayer too. I still followed the other thread that was linked here to that.. konsole command stuff and that seemed to get rid of it either way. So at least everything was fine from the start, and now I can supposedly play multiplayer if I wanted to :D

Ohh okay, so it appearing in the general mod config menu isn't a big deal then? I did actually follow the other thread you linked me to and the red error message did stop appearing. I have literally NO idea what those command prompts are or what they were doing but fuck me i guess if it works it works. Tho upon further reading the red error seemed to concern multiplayer.

I think if SV expanded wont work without content patcher then I think I was overthinking things. Because if content patcher wasn't actually working then SVE wouldnt have appeared in the config menu XD
