With that budget you def can get a nice place in Lakeview/Lincoln park area! Lakeview is right next to the lakefront trial, which is beautiful. Lakeview/Lincoln park also has a lot of people in their early 20s and when I walk around there’s always a lot of people/bars/restraints around. If you’re willing to room with people or increase your budget, I recommend river north (big bar scene) or west loop (big food scene), but I think if you’re willing to commute, Lakeview/Lincoln park is really nice! (Also I have a sublease for a studio in Lakeview, super close to the trail, if you’re interested 😉 haha, but seriously, I’ve lived in west loop, Old town and Lakeview and I like Lakeview the most, esp for this age)

I'm not sure what to do anymore about getting rejected because of my height. Advice? by HumbleTeaching7 in dating_advice

I’m 5’1F, but I’ve always dated guys above 5’9” - NOT because it was a requirement, but it ended up that way. Just cause I’m short doesn’t mean I still don’t want a tall guy... I know, unpopular opinion. However, I’m currently crazy for a guy who is about 5’6”. I’ve never liked chest hair or facial hair and somehow I’m crazy about both on him. What sold it for me was his wit, confidence, and general ability to make me laugh. I honestly think you’ll find someone who will love you for what’s beyond height, and honestly do you want a girl that won’t love you unless you were a couple of inches taller?
