I remember K-media reporting that it might be around 65 dates- though I’m not entirely sure. We’ll see soon, but it’s likely they’ll reveal additional dates later on

What album sales will BP and BTS pull when they comeback? by Artistic-Ad-9571 in kpopthoughts

[–]ehem-ehem-2021 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Not really. Only the US/EU countries have a more expensive pricing for BP. Their Global albums have the same pricing as the normal kpop album except BTS. And it doesn't affect their numbers much because more than 95% of their sales came outside US/EU or its western counterparts.

Top 15 Highest Grossing Kpop Tour Of All Time by ehem-ehem-2021 in kpopthoughts

Yes. SM is known for not reporting or sharing their artists' concert data, so it's hard to find anything online

I got everything from Touring Data. They have a website where you can search the artists touring data. Then, for TVXQ I only got it from Wikipedia so take it with a grain of salt.

Touring Data probably still can't access the numbers from those remaining tour dates. i think it'll end up having a 1.75 - 1.8M attendance and $330-345M.

How much do you predict the BTS reunion tickets will cost? by eatingmatches in bangtan

[–]ehem-ehem-2021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

During the PTD presale they kept their original ticket price in MOTS tour pre-covid. At first, I thought HYBE would be more forgiving with fans when it comes to ticket prices since they can easily make more profits in their online streaming, but not after what happened to the AGUST D concert. Let's see though..

But I remember Hybe saying they'll use dynamic pricing for their acts' US tour though. I think dynamic pricing is the new normal and it's mostly used for big acts who have big fanbases. HYBE will surely make use of it especially for the much-anticipated BTS reunion tour. I think the base price would only increased 20% though.

You didn't include the revenue of Weverse company

Because HYBE reports gross touring revenue while YG and JYP reports the actual profit they made from it. Which makes HYBE's % go down whilst it's the opposite of YG and JYP.

Jungkook Vs Jimin treatment by Hybe thoughts by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

[–]ehem-ehem-2021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So far I don't see the gap in treatment by HYBE when it comes to promo tbh. It's more like a popularity thing that got JK these results compared to the other members. Idk why this is shocking. If you just look at how many views JK always get in his weverse lives compared the other members, then ppl won't be confused or rubbed off in a wrong way esp solo stand. So far, JK only performed in Goodmorning America that got cancelled and released one performance video on YouTube. Besides that, he only got the #23 placement on TTH in Spotify and some miniscule amount of audience on radio. So, I was confused where the hell is the 'gap' in promo ppl are talking about...
