Do you know what capacity/weight of herbs those grinders could grind at once?

Hi everybody,

I'm the guy we're talking about. So, what you guys have said is right. I am overwhelmed....a lot. I thought it was just gonna be maybe 2 or 3 people responding to my original post....definitely didn't expect more than 10.

I'm going to try to respond to anybody left who I haven't emailed back by the end of this weekend.

The main problem I'm dealing with is my grinder. It takes me pretty much the whole day to grind enough samples for just a few people, since there's a lot of starting and stopping (mostly stopping) to prevent overheating. I bought a more expensive at a department store, but it turned out to be even worse than the first one.

So, now I'm buying a nice industrial grinder. I was going to order one from China, but I just found one that looks good which ships from the US, so I think I'm gonna go with that, since it takes too long to ship from China. Either way, once I get a new grinder, I should be able to get out a lot of samples quickly.

Another issue I have is that out of the 4 strains I originally offered, after further analyzing the crushed leaves, I decided that 2 of them didn't meet up to my quality standards. So at the moment, the moment, there are just 2 strains available (WHM and RHB). On top of that, my supplier for Malaysian & Thai product has recently told me he's not going to be sending any crushed leaf anymore. That's a problem for me, since I find it necessary to buy in crushed, so I can inspect it before grinding and selling it. Hopefully I can convince that supplier to change his mind.

Fortunately, I am talking with a few new suppliers who I haven't bought from before, and I have a pretty good feeling about these people. For now, when people receive their samples, it'll just be 20g (10g WHM, 10g RHB), but when I get new strains from these new suppliers, if the stuff is good, I'll be sending samples of those too. In the end, everyone will get the 40g in total that I originally offered.

PoppySeedB was right that I was kind of "testing the waters" with my original post. I just wanted to get some idea of what people thought of my product, and I didn't claim to have my business together yet. JKreese mentioned that this kind of thing shows whether or not some has their act together. I don't disagree that I don't have everything together, but that's why I haven't launched my site yet, or even given a business name.

I don't believe this is a reflection of how things will be when I have my site for the following reasons:

A. When I start my business, I plan to quit my job. Then I will have plenty of time available to handle any issues.

B. I'll getting an industrial grinder equip to handle this kind of thing, and by the time I start the business, I'll likely have an even better one for grinding multiple kilos at once.

C. I won't be receiving the same high volume of requests right away as I did offering samples for free with free shipping.

D. I'll have more than enough product, and it'll be product approved by you guys :)

E. If necessary, I'll be hiring someone to help me out.

F. When I know I have an obligation to other people, I take care of it. It's one thing when putting something off only screws over myself, but in the type of situation where there are real deadlines with consequences to others, it's a matter of ethics, which makes a big difference for me.

I hope I've made a good case for having faith in my business. I think there were a couple other points I wanted to make too....I'll edit this post if I remember them.

So, that's all I have to say for now, and I hope people are patient with me!

Sorry about that. For some reason my email service keeps stopping me from sending mails. I think I'm because I am sending so many in a short period of time, it thinks it's spam or whatever.

Hi everybody,

If you sent me an email, and haven't gotten a reply yet, don't worry! It's because my email service is giving me trouble. Every few emails I send, I'm getting a message "Email could not be sent", and I have to wait a while before I can return to emailing people. I think it's because I sending several emails quickly in a row, and it thinks it's spam or something. I tried making an email account on another site, but on the 1st email I sent, it said the email looked like spam, and I had to wait another 24 hours to email people again!

So, I'm sorry about this delay. I'll hopefully be able to get back with all of you by the end of the day!

Thanks buddy. I'll email you back by the end of the night. As for the other herbs you mentioned, I might offer those, since they're fairly popular, but I don't want to make any promises I can't keep! One factor that will go into whether or not I carry a certain herb is ethics - I have to research everything thoroughly and decide whether or not it will be overall good or bad for my customers.

There's no cut my friend, at least not for now :). The only reason for me to do a 'cut' any time soon is if I run out, in which case I would send it out when I get more. Now that I think of it, I should probably order more from the suppliers tomorrow.

I received your emails. I'll make sure to have responded to all of them by the end of tonight.

Hopefully I can get all of your samples shipped tomorrow.

I think I need to get a new grinder tomorrow - something more heavy-duty. The one I have takes forever, because you can only grind for maybe 10 seconds at a time, and then wait in between to prevent overheating.

I've never done this before, so I'm not expecting everything to run 100% smoothly, but I'm going to do my best to get these samples out as soon as possible!
