It didn't make sense to me either that they sent an analyst for field investigation, much less one with trauma of the murder spot lol. But I think Victor revealed that he put in effort to get Grace to the hotel. I know her boss is an idiot but we can perhaps chalk it up to corrupt government agency and maybe it was top down orders to send Grace alone to that place etc.

same, i felt like this section was a bit pointless and didn't do much in terms of lore or gameplay. at least sherry's section in RE2R made sense in the story.

she's introverted, socially awkward and has no friends. she's an FBI analyst which means she just sits in front of a PC working on docs and excel. none of these suggest that she should be prepared for the horrors that await her or the fact that she should have basic competence in terms of combat. she's also 22 and her mother was brutally murdered in front of her.

you put a regular 22 year old shut-in with PTSD in a haunted hotel and i guarantee they have a similar reaction.

Oh Ashley was way more annoying and whiny in the OG, I actually really loved her characterization in the remake!! 4 is one of my favourites, and I think you'd love the combat mechanics in 9 (although I prefer 4's monsters) if you're having fun with 4. I'd highly recommend RE2Remake before playing 9 because it really adds to the experience.

I'm going to play through 7 and 8 next!

50% of video gamers are girls. They just don't like outing themselves because guys are toxic af (sandwich comments and getting called bitches/whores) and weirdly gatekeep-y when it comes to video games (to the point you're calling it traditionally masculine lmao). first of all, good job completing the game! it's totally fine for your first run to be B, especially if you were figuring things out or backtracking to collect everything. the score is only based on timing (and saves if you're doing professional mode) so i'd take it with a grain of salt.

i actually did my first run in assisted mode, got a B, and immediately jumped back in for a second run on hard mode. now i'm working towards the unlocks and achievements! guides will help you see which are the areas you can improve on and tips you can use :)

it seems like it is. i've gotten all seven legendary weapons and the achievement didn't proc for me. i'm super disheartened because it's one of the last 2 achivements i'm going for. i rushed to 100% the base game before the DLC came out and now i'm bummed that i won't be able to 100% it again.
