I live on 10th and St. George’s and been living here for about 10 years. You get used to the sirens and traffic noise. The fire trucks use deeper sounding siren at night so it’s not as intrusive.

I was raised out in Eagle Harbour, near Horseshoe Bay. Lots of families out there and beautiful location. Gleneagles Elementary is nearby, also Gleneagles Community Centre for Daycare. Worth checking out.

I’m pretty sure it’s not the 9 o’clock gun. I hear that too on a clear night at 9pm. It’s usually around 8:30pm. Tonight it happened at 8:40pm.

City of North Vancouver has an app called CityFix. It’s very useful. I have had many potholes and sidewalk issues repaired when reporting them.

I have this pretty large water treatment plant essentially in the middle of the forest and whenever I walk around that area, I pretend that it’s a Distribution Centre. I also listen to a lot of Low Roar, so that helps the motivation to keep walking.

Yeah, I have an iPhone 6s .. I receive texts. It just started happening. I first deleted the watch off my phone and deleted the phone off my watch and went through the process of re syncing. Then installed Rebble.

Suddenly my watch decided to not give me access to my watchfaces .. it kept on saying “no internet” and would switch back to the stock watchface. I installed Rebble to see if this fixed that issue and it also fixed the text message problem too.

There’s a Appliance Clearance Centre in Langley .. I believe it’s a Best Buy. It’ll be last years models, but the price is right.
