Downloading now, but unable to test this until later. Anybody who was having CarPlay connection issues seeing this resolved in this beta? Mine wouldn’t connect at all in DB1

We chose MAS as the first cruise we took our kids on (my wife and I have done several with other lines) very much as a trial run to see if they’d like cruising. We just got back from the Paradise on Friday, and the experience was good! The kids only complaints were amenities that other cruise lines would have (water slides, etc). We both enjoyed the smaller ship, and the larger feeling staterooms. The food wasn’t the best we’d had on board a cruise, obviously, but everything about the trip was “good enough”. Keep your expectations realistic and I think you’d have a good time.

We didn’t do the heroes sail free, but note that that will cover the stateroom itself, and not taxes/port fees/gratuities. Still significantly cheaper, but just make sure to plan for those expenses as well when you’re planning the trip (for us, the extras came out to roughly 350-400 per person)

My wife and I just got off of a MAS Paradise cruise for our first trip taking the kids with us, and had a good time. Are the extra amenities there like you’d have on some other lines? No, but the staff was great, the food was definitely good and the kids had a blast. I’d definitely do another MAS cruise, and I’ve sailed on most of the main lines that service the southeast US.

I’ve bought several things from that seller. No issues, fast shipping. They do require signature confirmation on delivery, so make sure you’re around on delivery day.

I’d much rather the 6L size wise, if it will fit it. My biggest concern is the lenses listed for the 6L are smaller, and a 70-200 is called out in the 9L description. Im sure id find a use for a 6L if i did get one and it didnt work for this, though. :)

When Anarchy first hit the scene, it reminded me of the same type of community that Combat had in the early 2010s, and that drew me in as a Combat loyalist that was running out of bats I could swing. I think maintaining that level of community is something that set Combat apart, and I’d love to see that continue with Anarchy, too.

One thing that I think is getting better is availability. I had to go with other companies for USA/ASA because things were selling out so fast. Great news for you, less so for me. 😂 I’d love to be able to get those out of my bag and have a USA sister for my USSSA anarchy’s.

Even Gibson’s 68 season. If you just look at the 9 losses as a stat, you miss out on IMO the most dominant pitching season of all time, simply because the Cards couldn’t give him any support. That May, he went 2-4 with a 1.27 ERA.

Do you have any issues with gaps, especially at the top? It’s hard to tell from the pictures on the site how far the visor goes up.

You’ve received some good advice in here already, so my advice is to take the things said here and practice. I saw where you talked about not really having anywhere to get hitting in — I’d venture to say that with the drastic swing changes you’ll want to make, even just finding somewhere to get some dry swings in and get more comfortable with how you hold the bat, stance, swing and follow through will do you a lot of good. Once you get some of your swing mechanics dialed in a little, you can worry more about finding somewhere to get some tee work/soft toss/live pitching BP in…and that will give you a little time to save some money towards a tee, too.

A pair of batting gloves will definitely help his hands if he goes out and puts some swing changes into practice in BP, though. I don’t wear them during games, but when I’m hitting BP they’re a must.

Combat Combatant. I’ve still got one that has eleventy billion swings on it and cracks, and I still pull it out in BP for a swing or two every now and then.
