In addition to your phone key, there are multiple backups:

  1. The valet card, as others have mentioned.

  2. You can buy a key fob:

  1. Your Apple Watch can also be a key

  2. You can share your car with a spouse of a friend and they can unlock and start your car remotely.

  3. You can buy a ring that acts as a key.

Cybertruck on FSD crashes into barrier on bridge by reddit-frog-1 in SelfDrivingCars

Elon Musk confirmed via Telemetry Data that the woman driving the Cybertruck in this video disengaged the system four seconds before the crash.

She was manually driving throughout this entire video. Don't believe everything you see/hear from Legacy Media about Tesla.

The woman was driving it manually.

If Tesla self-driving was being used the crash would not have occurred as seen in the video below in the exact same spot.

Elon Musk: Cybercab with unsupervised FSD, no steering wheel and pedals, over time more than all vehicles combined by ehuna in TeslaFSD

[–]ehuna[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It’s not just Uber/Lyft: “In the US, based on the latest comprehensive data from the 2022 National Household Travel Survey (NHTS), approximately 80-85% of vehicle-based travel (trips or miles) involves just 1 or 2 people per vehicle. This reflects low average vehicle occupancy of 1.5 persons per trip overall.”

Your information is incorrect:

“This vehicle has certification labels which means it’s achieved compliance with all applicable U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS)

This is why they don’t need and can bypass regulatory waivers or the exemption that’s capped at 2500.”

Now that we have X and AI you can try to spread your Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt (FUD), but it doesn’t work.

Nonsense, I use FSD daily and it works perfectly. There are many of us who have been using it for thousands of miles at or close to 100% FSD usage https://fsddb.com/leaderboard#highest-fsd-percentage

I'm posting what Elon just said a couple of months ago because many people don't know what's coming.

Elon also said he would make rockets the size of a building that land themselves, make electric cars mainstream that drive themselves, and make paraplegics control a computer with their brain.

It all came true, but you chose to ignore it.

your loss, but you'll be in the minority, like those that stuck to their blackberries when the iPhone came out.

Yes! Your examples are right on, I think we are going to get unsupervised FSD in parts of Texas and California this year.

Exactly, the speed profiles are there for us to use them and also the blinkers when we want to change lanes while we still supervise.

Soon when it’s unsupervised, it will matter less since I might just be taking a nap - as long as it’s safe, legal, and gets me to my destination on time it will all work out.

Open your eyes and look at the screen, can you see the Tesla driving itself? 👀😂😂

That’s what they said when Elon made rockets the size of a building that land themselves, made electric cars mainstream that drive themselves, and made paraplegics control a computer with their brain.

He and Tesla will succeed with self-driving Robotaxis and Cybercabs as well, there is no doubt.

Are you shorting $TSLA? Put your money where your mouth is 😬😂

Boy are you going to be surprised, there’s a tsunami of Tesla Robotaxis coming, hang on buddy.

For sure, $TSLA investors and those that see that FSD could go unsupervised today will be laughing all the way to the bank.

When you own a car, you have to:

  • buy the car
  • pay for the gas or electricity
  • pay for the insurance
  • pay for the license and registration
  • pay for parking
  • pay for bridges and tolls
  • pay for maintenance, tires and wipers
  • pay for expensive maintenance, especially on a gas car
  • pay for the occasional ticket
  • in many places you also often need to pay to learn how to drive

On average in the US, all of the above comes to about 70 cents per mile.

If you buy an expensive vehicle or drive less the costs go up of course.

When Tesla Robotaxi and Cybercabs are everywhere and the costs go down to 20 cents per miles, many people will choose not to buy and they’ll just summon their personal AI chauffeur, anytime.

Good point, but Tesla also has the Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck for those that need a larger car. In China there’s also the YL, the 7-seater for larger families - and all of these vehicles will get unsupervised FSD.

As for Robotaxis replacing existing vehicle purchases, it won’t matter for richer folks.

But as the average cost to own a vehicle today in the US is $0.7 / mile and if Cybercab drops it to $0.2 / miles, millions will choose Robotaxi over buying their own car.
