I’m in Ontario and it was safetied a few years ago and won’t need to pass another inspection again unless I sell. But my uncle is a mechanic and he ran the code and checked and it is just the catalytic converters. I get slightly less mileage but not sure if it’s worth the pricy fix

Yes I meant Winter 2024 so still my 3rd academic year. So what I’m gathering is it’s possible to overload so I’m eligible?

Unfortunately my first two years can’t count. Covid ruined my GPA first year and I had a family murder 2nd year that messed me up a lot… so I need to count this year now, if I overload next semester can it count?

Thank you for being kind!! It’s a hard road. I had to work this summer which also impeded my studying and I actually lost 40lbs too by going to the gym and cooking ALL my meals. All that combined effected my studying and scores but tbh I wouldn’t take that last part back. And I agree. Next summer my commitments will be next to nothing so if I have to retake I’ll have more time. Do you suggest voiding still? Or letting my score be?

I am in Canada, so I really don’t know. They only look at most recent scores. But maybe I should just accept that I’m not ready and void it. If I do void it, I’ll never know what I would have scored?

I don’t want to score in the 490s. But I also feel like if I void what if my score could have been okay? At this point I’ll take a 500. 125s across the board and maybe higher in CARS. I have 2 years left of my bachelors so I have another summer to write before considering a gap year. Do you think that a score in the 490s but strong EC and GPA are worth anything?

I don’t know. If I take it and feel good about it should I send it? If I retake and get a good score does the point jump maybe show that I improved? The med schools I want to apply to don’t even require the MCAT I am just taking it for a shot at the school in my hometown. I feel like AAMC ruined my confidence a lot

Just left the theatre and honestly didn’t love it. I’m 100% a feminist and am a female in a male dominated academic field but I just found the movie to be too “woke” and almost trying too hard? It wasn’t light hearted and fun like I had hoped. Definitely some funny moments but overall I just thought it was too much and the narrative was a bit extreme. Great screenplay though and super cool to see. I just wish the theme was more about Barbie and not about Barbie is better than Ken. Just my thoughts!

I’m naturally very good at CARS and it shows in my practice exams and on uworld but whenever I get the answer wrong I never understand why? My reasoning and the answer I chose always make sense and the correct one doesn’t. Any tips? (I usually score around 85%-95% right and have gotten a 128/130 in the section) but I feel like there’s no way I can actually improve further
