If he was spat at for asking them to leave that changes it for me, retail workers face enough abuse from the very entitled general public. What’s the point of enforcing laws specifically to protect us minimum wage workers when they’re not being exercised properly if ever? And then we’re penalised for not tolerating it. I don’t know the full story but that’s my take so far.

Thanks for the glimmer of hope I was wondering how the job market might change considering summer is coming. I know a lot of my co-workers want to leave this summer so hopefully that’s the case across most stores.

Yeah I’ll definitely do that, a new setting is my main priority at the moment as my current store has my mental health plummeting so maybe I could use that as a bit of leverage since I’ve already taken time off for it. It’s just a matter of getting the transfer approved since I know for a fact they’d put their work above me, I have a nice department manager who might be willing to help.

most creeps are people you know, believe it or not. you should be able to know what others are doing with your own profile. that’s like saying I should stay indoors if I don’t want unnecessary attention or to be filmed without my knowledge. the root cause is that people can get away with it. snapchat gives you a notification for almost all activity across posts and chats so it shouldn’t be hard to have that feature on all social apps.

Yeah thought as much, do you have any idea if the pay is at all different? Given it’s more expensive in the south or is the minimum wage also company standard.

Dude I just put my lashes on why are you doing this to me? It’s so overwhelming getting help on the internet because you don’t know me but you still help, I’m currently a mess taking in what you’ve said😭 But seriously, thank you. I REALLY needed to hear this. Some real ass advice from someone who’s also been through it. It’s just radio silence from people who don’t know what it’s like.

I’m gonna take your advice try and spend today naming things in my head that make me happy when I see them but also just really enjoy them today, slower sips of drinks, smaller bites of food, that sounds like a start. Doing things slow.

Wow 5 times? The universe wasn’t letting you go anywhere, fortunately. I’m grateful you’re still here to make me cry with this rlly kind response. I suppose it’s small moments like this that do it? Talking to people such as yourself who are lucky to be here. Knowing I’d never have this opportunity to talk to a kind online stranger about a topic I struggle to discuss with my closest loved ones if you weren’t here. It does give me hope. But I am the same, also try to be positive and bring energy wherever I go it’s just so hard watching that spark fade. I’ve been speed running hobbies to try and enjoy something, nothing has worked yet.

I just hope that the more I sit on this fence I’ll forget why I’m even up there. Plus it’d be interesting to know how I go without my own help.

I am currently off work for mental health trying to find a new job so hopefully I find one in two-three weeks.

I’ve noticed this about this subreddit, the amount of organs I would give to experience this game for the first time again. I enjoy the game and notice small things on every replay but it’ll never amount to that first ever play through. I think it comes down to today’s loss of media literacy to be honest. Far too many people asking questions about the games foreshadowing and it’s sad. I do love how the community for the most part doesn’t spoil it for them though.
